I am in full support of the Grand Exchange being added, I loved the area as well.
If that opinion is unpopular, I'd be happy to at least see automatic trading at the trading post (something that seems to be requested in this thread).

I do not like the idea of sending a trade request through the trading post, I much prefer the alternative that is to automatically buy something someone is selling. I would also favour a complete change of the system to become the grand exchange, merely through efficiency and the ability to sell less expensive items that currently prove futile in the market as it stands.
A common argument against an automated system is that of interaction. I put it to them that there is either extremely little or none interaction, the trading system as it stands is nothing like it was in 2007, where the trading was at falador park; an open wide space in comparison to varrock west bank; a small crowded space. The only bit of interaction with players on this current trading system is either an attempt at a scam, nothing, or at best, a 'thanks'.

In addition, @Ash, do you think it would be possible to poll the re-introduction of revenants and the pvp armour?

GE had strong support when it was initially voted for, I personally recall around 70% in favor, and others have told me 73/74% in favor, I think it's something that should be looked at and polled again. The exp and time waste travelling from what you're doing (assuming you don't bank stand all day) is crazy, you get to what you're focusing on and get pmed to trade every 10 minutes. Now you could say just post offers while bank standing, or just don't post them at all, but that's just unneeded limitation, IMO.

This is 2007scape. The GE didn't exist then and added a layer of difficulty to the game some player like myself enjoy. The trading post is pushing it and I would 100% NOT support a GE of any kind in OSRS.

Players like yourself are part of the reason why the main game has gone downhill. You are basically being a crybaby that trading takes too long. Guess what? Its an MMO and if time is an issue LEAVE.

The players who are protesting for the GE in OSRS with HD graphics and resizable windows are NOT true runescapers.

i think that this is a good update for starters, and to keep it basic and see what people think of the update and work on it from there so, if you want my advise, i think it will make the ease of access a little easier if you could just use it right from the bank booth so there's not a giant stack of clutter in the comer of the bank, also the second thing is , its unsecured O.0 there's no bank pin! oh no! haha but ya that scares me :( what if someone gains access to my account they cant steal my stack of ranarr right out of the trading post :( also is there a way to add an average price right above the item your looking at,to make it easier< because at the moment its kinda annoying having to go to "other sites to look for the price or have to go back and actually search for the item then go back to offer.. i dont know, ONE more thing, im curious as to if we can talk about an update to add a buying offer page so people can just get on and find the top buying instead of selling and wait for "who knows how long" when there's already a buyer out there it could save alot of time for that person to just go to a buyers page. ALSO i have got to say GREAT JOB i was SUPER skeptical about how this was going to turn out and i am very pleased :) )))))

Yay Jagex and the mods destroyed another fun thing about runescape. now all merchers gonna have 20 times more competition. and this update wont fix anything on runescape market... u still got to meet up with players.. atleast on **bes people could post an offer on item quest etc. and u could make some money ... simple logic to all rs players. pay more if u want an item**** will be the same... u complain about taking so long to buy an item simple answer is pay more cash for players gathering supplies. we merchers are the GE

Good god please tell me all of you are not that lazy that you actually want a GE instead of taking two seconds to meet up and trade a player in game. OSRS did not have a GE, they implemented it once they REMOVED free trade, not before. The GE completely eliminates player driven pricing/ free trade and I hope that this community is not that blind to the amount of people who will quit if the GE gets implemented. It personally is one of the main reasons My friends and myself quit RS3 along with countless others. If you guys want the GE please go back to RS3 and don't ruin OSRS for those of us who want a challenge and the feel of original RS. They are already adding a new continent and bosses, isn't that enough? Please guys just realize how negatively this will affect the community, I sincerely hope it does not pass cause it will kill the game for all who actually enjoy a challenge/original 2007 RS.
