Can you please specify on the rewards whether or not you need to be using the diary-item or it's just a passive effect that happens. Some of them are not so obvious.

Also, just a few ideas for the diary:

-Wilderness reward: add a canoe station at the level 35 wilderness canoe dropoff (cannot take canoe while tb'd)
-Freminnick reward: a bank in Relleka
-Kharidian Desert reward: a fairy ring in Sophanem
-Morytania reward: a way to kill vyrewatch


-Wilderness task(elite): craft a malediction or odium ward
-Wilderness task(elite): slay one of (if not all) the wilderness main bosses
-Wilderness task(hard): slay one of (if not all) the wilderness mini-bosses
-Varrok task(elite): complete 1 of the Champions' Guild's champion's challenge
-Morytania task(elite): kill a vyrewatch (assuming the above reward is added and is hard or lower)
-Western Provinces task(elite): craft a death rune

I think some of these achievement diaries were really good, and suited oldschool - I'm not so sure about the ones that have been added to the main game since 2011 though.
I'm up for having a look anyway, will hopefully persuade me, and others to play more again :P

I've seen some post about the mlm boost, so i thought i should do some calcutations ;)

At the moment mlm is 43k xp/h and 300k gp/h :source randalicous video on youtube

Lets asume you have double nats as an income and 300k gp/h is 25% of what you are making with nats.

so the efficient rate for the current mlm is:
(mlm xp/h)/(quarry xp/h) + 25% = (43/63) + 25%= 93% (63 is from the cml supplies calc)

So the mlm is actually 93% efficient if your income is double nats at the moment

If we now add the 12.5% xp boost from the achivement diary (48k instead 43k)

efficient rate for mlm with the xp boost
(mlm xp/h)/(quarry xp/h) + 25% = (48/63) + 25% = 101%

And keep in mind i do not take into considerations the extra money you get from the 10% double ore boost. So the efficient rate for the new mlm could be higher.

If my calculations are correct i think it is a bit sad that mlm is going to be more efficient than quarry, because quarry takes alot more effort. And more effort should always be equal to more xp.

PS. Never done mlm myself so my calculations could absolutly be wrong, if you think i'm wrong please tell me.

Quite honestly, quarry should be dead content since as far as i am aware, you drop the items that you mine for increased experience which is absolutely stupid. This is making a click intensive grind, just a stupid grind with really no meaning behind it. It makes no sense for a skilling skills best xp to come from something where you dont even keep the produce. Plus in your calculations you are taking into consideration all this stupid efficiency calculations which really do not play much part in the considerations of the majority of rsers, making it a void calculation.

i don't really understand your argument zedar. If i am not supposed to use efficient xp rates, what type of xp rates am i supposed to use then?

using efficient rates makes sense but i understand his point to is that majority of rs players aren't going to get those rates considering not everyone is 100% focused on maxing with the best rates.
