I think that Inferno adze would be a really good reward from the achievment dairys and I think a lot people would want it back in the game. I am a level 3 skiller and if It would be possible to have the inferno adze as a reward that level 3 skiller also can get, I and a lot of other skiller would be really glad.

Pretty sure all elite diaries will require some combat. You don't except a lvl3 to do any elite, do you?
I haven't read all of the rewards yet, but I'm already feeling you're making the game easier. I want more content, not old content made easier. XP boosts, noted drops, double tokkul and fight cave resurrections, no thank you.

I think you might feel so because they throw all this in a single moment.. Maybe you wouldn't find it that OP if it was added over time, like 1 diary every 2 months.
The reqs are high, the rewards are nice. It seems good for the game, it gives motivation to skilling.

I love most of the rewards but i have a problem with 3 the seem to OP for old school
1. the red d hides shouldnt be dropped as notes
2. dag bones shouldnt be dropped as note
3. dragon bones shouldnt be dropped as notes in the wilderness
1. To beable to get noted red d'hides you would need 91rc - the dragons will stay as dead content, no point killing them when you can rc for much better gp/hr.
2. Dag kings are pretty bad money considering how many kills / hr you can get and ****dering the difficulty / cost of supplies (only boss where you live solely off ppots, at other bosses you can bring sharks etc to keep it cheaper), this would balance them out (+ you can expect the reqs to be pretty high, there's alot of high level stuff in relekka).
3. Once again, you will need pretty high stats to unlock this and killing green drags will probably not be your best money making method by then. Even if it is good money, remember that you can be pked and that most dbones are currently brought into the game by bots, this could be useful to combat bot farmers.
Also, Heur, you're a legend - agreed with everything you've said.

This keeps things from becoming dead content, lets high level skillers show their accomplishments and gives people a reason to train their skills up. It will be a really good update. We've got new content coming anyway - Zeah and snake boss are on the horizon, don't worry man - there will be something for everyone.

-Anyways, the 20% bonus XP isn't really 20% more XP. It's probably closer to ~12.5%, since only some of your XP comes from mining the paydirt, the rest comes from washing. It's a big chunk, but who knows what the requirements are - not everyone will have access to it though, for sure. (I assume part of the MLM requirement will be to collect a Rune ore from MLM)
The MLM XP rate at 99, full attention, seems to be around ~43K/hour. It may go up to ~48.3K Xp/Hour. It's more than before, but it's nothing for everyone to lose their minds over.
-Could you also give elite ardy cloak +8stab instead of +6stab, apprently firecape is still better dps at corporeal beast.
-Gotta remember guys - the rewards are good, yeah, but it's not like everyone will beable to access them, and those who will beable to might not play the game the way you do - people who get K gloves 4 will need 91 rc, why would they camp the red dragons for noted hides when they can rc nats for 1m / hr?
To unlock the noted dbones in wildy you will probably have high stats in general and probably have better ways to make money than killing dragons anyway.
Example : If it takes 250 hours (probably the average) to get all the skill reqs for all the tasks of a specific location, you have to think what they could have done with those 250 hours.
If you train cooking for 250 hours with wines, that's 100m xp, or 50m xp with sharks. So 100m xp or an achievement diary.
Another example : If you train RC for 250 hours (past 91) you would get 5.5m-6m xp and make around 260m. So you could pretty much do 91-98RC (with 260m profit) in the time it takes to get the stats for an elite diary.
Look at things from a different point of view and you realise it's not all that OP.
It's really just that they are still baby steps towards making oldschool easier. Sure, you might need 85 mining for the elite falador task, but the xp boost is significant when going for 200m xp.
I agree with Heur's assessment in regards to the impact of the proposed diary rewards. Any reward deemed "OP" must have the context and requirements taken into consideration.
Bonuses like noted dragon bones in the wilderness may seem unreasonable if you do not pause to consider the fact that players able to complete the requisite elite tasks will probably have better money making methods available to them.

No, it's just that they are slowly upping xp rates. I don't like this. If I wanted easy 99s I'd play RS3.
Not really playing much at all atm, but I'll be back. Anyways, in the beginning I was positive to having a dedicated team for OSRS, but I'm growing more sceptical as they are making the game easier and are deciding stuff for the community. The last part refers to the changes they are making to splashing (even though I think the update itself is good, it should be up to the community.)
Anyways, if everyone else is happy with the rewards I'll just have to take it, and hope that the trend does not continue.

Voting based on people going for 200m is pretty pointless, it's such an insignificant % of the player base...
The point is to reward and encourage skillers, not tryhards.

Jared is a lvl3 skiller, so I'm not surprised he doesn't like the diaries. It won't benefit him in any way.
(Don't get me wrong, you/he has the right to vote no for any reason.)
