I personally don't care about this particular change, what has me disappointed is the fact that the devs are too cowardly to respond to the valid responses on this thread. I see no further point in taking part in polls, jagex is like the US government they're gonna do what they want regardless, no point in hiding behind polls anymore just grow a pair and post the updates and see what happens.

kudos to you people running the game for realising that half of people voting for something still doesn't make it a good thing to do.
if it's ok to afk train magic, getting 99 in it for nothing while you sleep, why not other skills? how about jagex just give us 99 in every skill because training is so boring? right, that'd be stupid. if you hate training your skills that's fine, but understand that that means you don't like runescape. go play something else that doesn't have skills so the rest of us can keep enjoying this game.
one point to make though, by banning it now and letting all those people who got tons of magic xp for free keep it is making fools out of everybody else who didn't do that, so please try to come to these realisations sooner next time!

to islay baked, how is spashin*, where you don't have to be at the keyboard, in any way similar to alching, where you do have to be there and can't just wake up with a free 99?

to PBS, plenty of people vote to make the game worse, because they think only of their account not the game as a whole****** "i want an easy 99 magic so i want splashing" instead of "if everyone can get 99 magic easily, how would that affect the game?" if they made the game exactly as people wanted it'd be terrible.

Whether or not you would like to admit, most alchers are using an autoclicker.. It is no different than splashing other than ppl can't blatantly see you're gaining afk magic xp. But that is beside the main issue, jagex made a major change in the game without using the poll system as well as ignored the previous survey which was completely against the change they just made. Magic has and always will be a skill that can be obtained through afk whether you like it or not. On the other hand they completely manipulated the price of the most valuable and hardest to obtain slayer drop. Slayer is one of the skills in this game that takes a lot of time and dedicaction -next post

Why should a game be 'work' I play RuneScape to have fun pking or bossing not 'work' if I wanted to do that I'd get a second job.

I understand some people lack real life achievements and use MMO's to fill that void but that's what the high scores are for social player that want to boss and pk only want the minimal as fast and afkable as possible seeing as for the majority it'll be their second time getting these skills.



I should add I haven't ever used splashing or ever would because it's slow and i cba to leave it on over night etc but it was a good option for people that did want to, personally I barraged monkeys at ape atoll on my tank and will do the same on this account eventually.

I...never mentioned high level alching? I understand stuff about the smoke battlestaff being lower value now (which is indeed a pity), but where did I mention alching at all? All *I* stated was that I was on a Slayer task, not that 93 Slayer should be devalued; not to mention Jagex is likely going to do something for it based on the price, according to the Jmod responses to this. Oh, I almost forgot.

Untradeable items in the Wilderness

With this issue we did*’t see an overwhelming desire for us to change anything. If you die in level 20 wilderness you drop all untradeable items as gold which seems to be a good middle ground. However, if anyone does have ideas for ways to improve this, please let us know.

Well, what about items about Void knight armour, Torso, Fire cape? We can't pick them up back anymore if we risk these items in wilderness? /***\

What about making some exception about some times to turn into gold when died?

I find it funny how most of the crying is about money and lack of Jagex doing as "we" told them. Remember the facts people "WE" said that for a poll to be put into play it had to reach 75%. "WE" did not do that so Jagex had full right to do what they wanted. 50% 60% WHATEVER% is not 75% so they didn't go against us they made a decision where we couldn't.

What's with all the "no reason for this lvl or that lvl"? You want a reason to lvl your skill to 99 how about because it's a game and that's what you do. You play it to lvl and improve your toon. Stop being so lazy. So rcing can be a bit of a pain in the butt Jagex made several updates to improve the ease of it. Remember when people would get their ess stolen and the jungle store from walking back and forth all day to make nats? Nothing is ever enough for you people. They make a completely different set of servers just for us so we could play the game like it used to be played and it still isn't enough. Stop crying so much and start appreciating a little bit it might do you some good.
