I don't like this update, our gear is getting overpowered with first trident, then this making darts perhaps better than a crossbow, we have armadyl crossbow and now with the scales its almost like DRYGORES! OH "LETS MAKE STUFF BETTER" *makes trident more op* *ops darts* This is ridiculous and we are getting farther and farther away from the way 07 was meant to be.

EDIT: *ADDS SUPER *P HELM THAT WILL RUIN ALL OTHERS*

ACB will still be the best 1 handed ranged weapon.
Trident could be a little bit OP, but it's not like it's used everywhere - kraken boss, barrows, dks, maybe lava drags... Plus it's usually the poorer people that go to barrows or lava drags (not only poor, just sayin) - so they wont beable to afford a degreadeable attachment.
Also, the helmet is level 75, it has the same defence as a level 70 helm, +2 str (+0.5 hit) over a level 55 helm .
The special effect is justified by the fact that it's level 75, another level 75 item (elysian sp shield) has a special effect and is one of the most desireable PvM items in game, it's also the most expensive.

#Exaggeration

Magic is the least used form of combat in PvM (where the trident can only be used) therefore this update for the trident is nothing but a benefit for it.

This ranged weapon has not only the highest ranged requirement, short range (I'm assuming), but also it's 2 handed. It ought to be better than the ACB plus you lose the defence of having no shield.

This is nothing like drygores, I have absolutely no idea where you pulled that from.

That is your *opinion* on what you think *old-school* (let me remind you this is a new game called OSRS not a stale, unchanging game stick in 2007). Much of the community clearly disagree with you and want *old-school* to take this path.

I don't think you understand the word overpowered.
