Great news on updating the networks to fight off the ddos attacks. Terrible news on polling gravestones. Why do you insist on polling mechanics that are designed, with nothing else at all in mind, to make the game easier?

Does no one see this is exactly what happened to RS3? At this pace, I won't be surprised to see Effigies polled next year. It's so damn depressing.

So, no. I will never support gravestones, or automatic trading, or easier experience. If it passes, I leave.

I lost full void because you can't figure out how to take care of your ******* game. Fix the ****, I'm not paying to die due to poor care of the game. This is ridiculous. It happens again and I'm not gonna waste my time playing your game anymore just to have it ruined by your own damn incompetence. Fix this **** so other players don't have to deal with your ********, ok? stop making ridiculous excuses and ******* do the job. Pathetic. Just pathetic.

Modifications arent good enough, people still wish to have pvp combat, its most of the reason why I play, because its fun. I dont play this game to sit there and chop logs from a tree, I play to interact with other players and have fun pking. When this aspect of the game starts to decline, so does your player base. Get it right. None of the solutions you have come up with will help players who dc while in pvp. Other players like myself, have lost items such as void for fighter torsos or firecapes. Items that are rather annoying to get back. Nobody ever says "oh, I feel like doing 20 hours of pest control" or "i feel like wasting money and killing jad" or "i feel like playing barbarian assault for the fun of it".

Like I said before, this is pathetic. Why should i have to waste hours of my time to get my items back due to a problem inflicted on the game by your negligence?

Even with Gravestones, some people are going to do try to dc people just for the sake of them perhaps loosing their items. Not to mention the problem will still persist in pvp worlds.

I think for a solution, and im not sure how feasible this is, but code into the game so that it recognizes the difference between a disconnect and an x log. So that if you dc, you automatically log out that instant, no matter what. And if you x log, you dont automatically log out.

That way there is no insensitive for a hack. And even is they try it, no harm will come out of it.

Gravestones wont solve anything, people who keep dropping the words do it just to ruin the fun from players. Who the hell goes gwding, corp or anything else if the worlds are gonna drop within next 10minutes.

These current changes to death mechanism are good for now tho. But just saying, gravestones wont stop idiots Ddosing.

Faulty logic! You are assuming you know when servers are going to experience network issues. While it is true that if you know world 10 is experiencing problems then yes you should refrain from bossing.

See this is different than a server maintance where Jagex gives a warning in advanced. And Jagex always says refrain from bossing unless you would like to lose your items.

For the grave idea, I like it, the reason why I don't do bossing in OSRS is for that reason, it is just to risky. I like RS3, in that regard, which is why bossing is done more frequently, as you don't worry as much for losing your stuff. Although you could lose items from disconnections as well, or you don't reach grave in time. It is more fair.

There is no way to do that. Because code-wise there is no way to distinguish between a closing of the browser (basically not logging off, although Jagex gives a warning if you do so) or if I got disconnected because my house lost power.

we should get more people like us to tell them to gtfo and stop making this into ******* eoc... they need to ***** stop...

Page 14 is where I saw this quote and promptly facepalmed.

Are you even aware that Gravestones were implemented FAR before the EoC was? They were an RS2 update - 2007 I believe. Go look it up - it might do you some good.

People who are stuck in the past and refuse to see the game adapt sicken me.

EDIT: Oh look, another stupid quote by the same person!

Hahahahahahahaha!

No.

They aren't asking if we want abilities. They never said they were changing Hitpoints and Prayer values. They don't want to add Guthix's death (and as a result Divination).

This is a fix to help others out during a turbulent time for the game. A temporary one, at that! And personally? I think gravestones would help a LOT!

You, sir, are very welcome to leave. Your opinion it may be, but the amount of posts you've spammed in this topic (as well as threatening other players physically, which I doubt you have the balls to carry out on) mean less than nothing to the GOOD players like me. You are a toxic-minded individual; I would hate to make a game and wind up having you play it.

Also, I would like to point out to every last angsty player here who is blaming Jagex for the DDoS to promptly consider their future as a human being. Jagex is NOT to blame!
Oh, I almost forgot.
Oh, I already forgot.

Will the GWD killcount still decrease when you die and leave the area ? If so, what's the point of it? Also i know from an experience that 10 minutes may not be enough to get your items back, sometimes I've been unable to log in for over 5 consequtive minutes and even if you have a spare ecumenical key to rush and get ur stuff back from gwd, you still may be unable to reach your it. Also two days ago... about 3 minutes after a ddos there was ANOTHER attack towards the network which again, resulted in disconnection. - Therefore it'd be nearly impossible to retrieve ones unfairly lost items.

Also i think that grave system would be ESENTIAL and only things that should be polled are the grave's features. I personally belive that being able to choose the items kept on death has the major necessity from the possible features.
