I think it was a good choice to make items not visible to others as that was most probably the motive.

As far as gravestones go, I don't think they should be added to Old School. In my opinion, one of the problems with RS3 is that there is minimal consequence for dying. Everyone can pretty much keep there items no matter where they die. If you lose your items, it means you'll have to buy them again - keeping the value up. It's good to get rid of some items every once in a while. This also adds to the risk/reward factor of high-level bosses.

Anyone else agree?

EDIT: I'm an ironman so don't really care about prices personally, but I think it would have a big impact on the economy in the long-term if graves were implemented.

Right now we essentially have gravestones minus the gravestone itself indicating that a player has died in the area, and the countdown timer. It's a fine temporary fix but probably shouldn't stay after the connection issues are fixed. Having no grave like system does take items out of the game from people genuinely dying via monsters and not disconnections which is a good thing so people have to rebuy their stuff.

However if a gravestone system is implemented or polled in the future I think anyone should be able to bless any grave and the length that your gravestone lasts on its own should be dependent on a price you pay to a NPC rather than a Prayer requirement as disconnecting shouldn't rely on you having a high Prayer level. And if you decide to bless a grave it should take away prayer points and the higher your prayer level the longer the blessed grave will last.

I will be voting NO to gravestones.

This is oldschool runescape, not eoc. We do not need to be babied.

Play the game smart and you won't lose anything.

If the primary motive for the ddos attacks is to acquire other players items, then the revised system will work great. I believe that once we see a significant decrease in attacks, this 10 minute timer should be reduced to 2 minutes and not go back to items appearing for other players. This will also add a much needed item sink to the game.

I do not agree. All prices go down eventually basic supply and demand. Even losing items in osrs it just went to another player and not disappear as you seem to think so the prices are over all not affected by it.
