Now honestly I couldn't care either way if gravestones were implemented.

BUT

It would get lame to see Angel of Death gravestones everywhere.

"selection of designs ranging from 5 to 15 minutes of protection"

Why can't the gravestone selection be a cosmetic, and then just pay additional coins to upgrade how long the protection lasts?

If gravestones were implemented, I would like to choose from a selection of them rather than just automatically choosing the best one (Angel of Death) just because it lasts the longest. I want to choose a gravestone based on what it looks like.

Variety is the spice of life.

EDIT: Royal Dwarven gravestone is apparently the best but I haven't played RS3 in a long time. The point still stands.

The update doesn't seem to be working. I dc'd in Bando's Room and ended up dying. I ran back in under ~3 minutes and my stuff wasn't there at all. I waited another 10 before giving up and teleporting. It didn't appear for my friend who was waiting in the room after I died also.

I don't like the idea of gravestones making it in to OSRS, but if we MUST:

Please make gravestones a degrading or one time use item, and require construction, smithing, or some relevant skill that could use a buff.

Awesome. At least this takes the temptation of DDosing worlds away..

As for graves, hell no... Not for the entirety of the game. MAYBE for right now, instead of this 10 minute timer, but that's it. Sometimes, when I disconnect, I have to reload the client. This slows down getting back to even throw in my bank pin then start running. A grave (for now) would be better so we can have a couple extra minutes (make a bless boost the timer to 30 minutes instead of 60).

Otherwise, this update was well needed for the time being.

Very much needed. IF gravestones are introduced you must NOT poll making them need a bless. Due to the fact that you are with a team and you all DC and die, THERE WILL BE NO-ONE ALIVE TO BLESS YOUR STONE. Please consider this as they will be useless if not.

Personally i would love Gravestones!

I am a huge fan of oldschool but believe Gravestones made my gameplay more enjoyable as i took more "risks" in hands such as going with random teams i found on the forums.
What are you, a concerned beaver?

I am greatly against graves, for a variety of reasons.

First, we don't really have any item sinks, causing everything to become worthless over time. Graves would compound this effect, since sorry to say it, but disconnects are currently our only form of an item sink.

Second, they give players too much of a sense of security, often leading to them risking items they are not willing to lose. I can't count how many times I heard about people losing 'their bank' because their internet went out or something, then blaming Jagex and asking for items returned (I hear you do that now in rs3, lol?).

If graves do have to be implemented, I would like them to require a tax, based on what you are risking, to receive your stuff back. This said tax could then be payed by donating other ITEMS in much the same way as mobilizing armies worked. Items that actually need an item sink please.

I basically don't want the game to become "easyscape" again, and graves were the turning point where it encroached upon that in my opinion. There's a difference between quality of life and holding someone's hand. Lessening the risk of dying is probably okay, but completely removing it is not. Death should always have some type of penalty.

Gravestones are an RS2 update. They never were an RS3 thing. People have been saying this repeatedly; are you completely blind?
Oh, I almost forgot.
