I would love for their to be a new fish, but I really don't see myself fishing an inventory and hauling my butt all the way out to a bank to then run all the way back to the fishing spot in the wilderness. It just wouldn't be efficient enough for it to be worth it, and that's not even taking into consideration that the fisher could easily be killed while banking, returning, or fishing.

I don't like the idea of removing worlds to make worlds more crowded. I have to hop around worlds enough already to try and find spots that aren't overly populated and useless.

I like almost everything here, I personally think +10 accuracy on the shields for their respective attack styles would more than suffice. The new staff though... Who in their right mind would pay that much for 1 charge of a spell that doesnt even do that much damage? I wish instead of staff of the dead from god wars we had gotten a slayer drop staff of light type weapon like we had before. as it is now that staff is hella overpriced and will be for a long while.

Love boss ideas! I will say I do hope that we get away from using shield models that are just recolored. I recognize content limitations with staff so far but lets not just recolour a Toktz-ket-xil a few times. Have to say I am extremely disappointed with the shields when I saw them. Make it unique! Even if you have to combine models already in-game, i'm sure it would make it better.

-I feel the Queen Scorpion would make for a better boss than the Roaming Bear and the Roaming Bear would be better suited as a demi-boss.

-I don't like the entire "Resource Area" thing.

-I don't like the idea of a crystal bow turning into a seed when you die with it, and no I do not rag people.

-I feel "Loot Bag" would be a better name than "Looting Bag".

-How about instead of Red Chinchompas you introduce a new type, Black Chinchompas, which are more accurate and do more damage than Red Chimchompas but are only found in the wilderness, which have the same hunter level and catch rate of Red Chinchompas, this would be due to them being much harder to obtain because they are located in the Wilderness.

-Queen Scorpion should drop a "Scorpion Stinger" which would be an attachment for the Abyssal Whip, the Scorpion Stinger would make the whip poisoned and give the whip a new special attack, but the stats would remain the same.

-In the Wilderness GWD Dungeon, all monster drops should be in noted form.

-The staff you proposed for the Cave Kraken to drop is way too expensive to charge and much too weak. It should be a lot more like the Polypore Staff.

I agree with everything but I am unsure about noted adamant bars... even though its in the wilderness they are still entering the game regardless if they get pked or not.

I saw a few people write about this, but can we please atleast use another npc shield for the 2 new shields.. maybe the varrock guards shield? you could recolour that, atleast its something new and fresh that players havent not and not a cheap budget looking rip off of the obsidian shield.


This is actually a good idea.

For the record, I think the models in the Dev Blog are perfectly fine tbh; it brings a true veteran like myself a sense of comfort in seeing familiar models being mixed with new content.

I love the idea of the Black Chinchompas. I'd raise the Hunter Requirement to 73 for them though; I still think Black Chinchompas should have a higher level since its only logical. Since they are in the Wilderness, this would be very profitable and only extremely, extremely rich players would be able to train Ranged with them.

Please address the fact that a player could simply have their 'log out' screen open and log out the second they see a white dot on the minimap,

which would make it to where tons of players (and potentially bots too) could gather resources without having to take the chance of dieing.

Add a consumable drop to krakens like polypore spores and reduce the cost of the spell big time. Boost the attack speed to standard (whip) and bring the max hit in line with crystal bow. Until then, magic is a joke in PvM.
Magic doesn't need changed at all, if you start changing it and bringing it in "line" with melee then it will make magic overpowered and the combat triangle is ****** again.

The only thing that needs changed is there needs to be more bosses weak to magic, which the upcoming slayer dungeon is doing.

Btw come on RS

Wasnt an issue in rs3 at several points, in fact at one point magic trashed both range and melee in the wild, though admittedly you couldnt use silly things like mystic to do it (duh). It was never big hit friendly admittedly but it was entirely possible to out DPS both range and mage (and given how rangers worked, to simply long distance them).

The big penalties to mage is that you cant farcast outside pvp worlds (or can you even far cast there?) and of course since you can't far cast you have to tank in 0 defense robes, bad solution. DPS is to low to win that fight currently but its attack speed didnt prevent it from reigning king.
