Make a poll about removing pvp worlds. They are pointless.

Perhaps it's wiser to leave one PvP world?

Definitely not. There is currently only 1 out of 2 pvp worlds that very few people use, because the wilderness is currently dead. That world should be gone together with the even more dead one.

no way, PVP worlds are here to stay because we voted on them. I'm assuming you're very bad at pking or you're cheating PJer

Limiting the worlds
Many of you have asked us to limit the amount of worlds available to Old School to boost activity on some of the quieter worlds. This is particularly relevant to the Wilderness as increasing activity there is a big aim.

Question: Should we remove 10 worlds from the world list to boost activity on the other worlds?

I agree. Get rid of PVP worlds AND remove 10 worlds. The wilderness will be much more active.

Why would someone be against this i mean get real 100 ppl in each world???? thats just disgraceful.. this shouldnt even need to be polled in my opinion. Its just ridiculous how rarely you would just randomly run into someone in this game unless your in varrock banks aka the popular good known place where trading usually takes place.

1) By how much would you "beef up the drop tables of the Chaos Elemental and King Black Dragon"?

2) If you get noted resources on all the new wilderness resources it will just give way to huge amounts of those items entering the game and devaluing the resource a ton. I don't think they should be noted, maybe make it where per ore/log you mine or cut you have a 60% chance of receiving a noted ore in your inventory as well? Or something that isn't as economy changing.

3) It seems "low combat level" skillers are now at a disadvantage while skilling because there are no "low combat level" skilling methods available in this update. They are all for combat based accounts.

4) The loot bag is going to bring a huge influx of cash into the game defeating any previous money sinks because no longer will items be left on the ground to disappear. They will all be picked up, acting in a way similar to the gravestone.

5) I think there is going to be a serious amount of cash entering the game with the "untradeables converting to gold after 20 wild" and the "loot bag" and noted items and free alching.

6) Normal worlds should not be removed, just the number of revamped wilderness worlds need to be cut down so there are not an extreme amount of resources entering the game and devaluing the profit of normal skilling.


Just my thoughts on those points :) :
1) I'd be interested to know, and I would like to see it polled before release.
2) Most of the items you get noted are items that will be made into highalchables, they can't drop in price too much.
3) Skillers were already at a disadvantage. This update will not affect them much.
4) I doubt that. Most expensive items were picked up anyways. I'm more scared for what the ores and logs will do to the economy.
5) Don't worry man, these items are either worth very little or take too long to get, so not a lot of people will risk them.
6) I think there should be less worlds anyways.

I noticed in this new updated developer blog for the rejuvenation of the wilderness you took out the idea of revenants. I know you were having a hard time figuring out what they would drop and all and then there was all the conflict with people complaining where they should be put but i feel like i have a good reason why they would be a
benefit to the rejuvenation to the wilderness.


Revenants in RS3 or at least during pre-eoc had reduced exp when you would go and attack them. This was because the chance of getting very valuable drops was somewhat high. I believe a good idea would be to bring back the revenants but don't make it so they give reduced experience. Make it so there only drop is coins or rune items and a rare or very rare chance at getting brawling gloves. I believe this may attract some players to the wilderness because even though they wont drop anything of insane value they will be a good area to train with a chance of a drop of brawling gloves which will pull them back to the wilderness any ways because you would only be able use them in the wilderness.

*Although nightmare zone is a good spot to train melee in this version the salve amulet(e) and its 15% increased damage being dealt on undead creatures along with the revenants healing powers may make it somewhat of a equivalent to nightmare zone*

As for there location i believe they would go fine in the ruins just north of the middle east dragons, that place with the single red spider above where the graveyard of shadows is. Or you could create a small cave, what ever the community prefers. You can also bring back the forinthry bracelet with this .

This is just a suggestion though, please tell me what yous guys think! Thanks =]

so nobody listened to me when i pointed out the thing about the shields...well...ok... but, could at least the designs be unique? i mean, i don't really think they should look like they were better defined since this is old school, BUT, the melee shield is tz-haar designed, it doesn't make sense the range and mage shield are recolored versions of the tz-haar shield, i know they are supposed to be the equivalent, but mystic robes and green hide bodies aren't just rune plate shaped with a different color, right? the green and blue versions could be an update that allows u to paint the tz-haar shield, in fact, adding the option to paint some weapons and armors with dyes could give that witch from Draynor a good use

My thougths on the ideas.
1. Create 2 Polls, one on the Wilderness stuff and one on the other.
2. Mage weapon needs to get buffed, both damage and speed wise.
3. I would not take away the option to teleport away from K*D
4. I feel that you would need to give more of a bonus to killing lava dragons
5. Increase copping rate and/or mining exp inside the resource area, or add a NPC that swapes out your logs for bank notes.
6. Add half exp of your magic spells on the Fortune of rune.
7. Why decrease the world number just make the wilderness unaccesable on 10 worlds.

otherwise im ready to vote yes to the rest of the questions.

We voted for the pvp worlds, because we had some nice memories and thought that they would be great, but they turned out to be the opposite. Based on your comment I don't assume, I know, that you are a bad pker who prefers pvm.
