Any chance you have number on how many accounts cancelled their membership in the first few days of P2P? I think it'd be interesting and it'd put some weight behind your argument that a permanent F2P would cause members to cancel their membership to become F2P.
Do you mean, how many players buy membership and cancel their agreement straight away?
Why should member players that PvM and PvP unsubscribe when permanent F2P comes? That doesnt even make sense. Why should people limit theirselves to rune armour only etc, while they obviously play for member content..

Do you plan to remove randoms? Bots do the randoms faster than us. They are not needed and most of us would like to see at least a toggle on/off button. As you can see your bot-filter works very well. I understand you say that Randoms catch some bots. But please note that they cause more trouble to us than it would worth to keep them as they are now.

Bots are under control and the amount of members raised.
Jagex logic: We will NOT offer permanent F2P, because we are scared that old school will become way more popular than eoc scape..
We'll be polling a tin foil hat shortly, it should come in useful for you.

Okay, so what happens if we release permanent F2P and 30% of members unsubscribe to take advantage of it.
Then you simply reverse the decision.
What happens if you release permanent F2P and 95% of members that cancel membership for any reason use it for a month or two and resubscribe?
(I'm assuming that significantly more than 5% of members that cancel end up not coming back.)
If we were to remove full F2P we would have lost the members and mugged off the rest of the community be removing F2P. If 95% of the members return within two months, we have still lost some members and two months worth of subscription. The best solution is to make the right decision.

No I mean people who were P2P before F2P was released and then quit. We saw that a lot of people didn't realise that the trial was only a trial, and they thought that F2P would quickly become permanent.
I'm assuming that some people therefore acted in the way you feared and cancelled their memberships so they could become a F2P account for when they hoped it was released permanently.
