As a F2P and P2P player, I am upset to discover that there seems little chance of having permanent f2p. I understand the rationale, but disagree with it. Many players who use f2p worlds train in p2p for the variety and efficiency that training offers. I've had many pkers that train their combat in members to pk in f2p against nonmembers. With no permanent f2* on the horizon, many of the pkers who were f2p players will not be exposed to the RS community, which will result in members quitting because of the minimal amount of participation in OSRS. OSRS is already competing with RS3 for participants. I think we're just shooting ourselves in the feet if we refuse to consider the possibility of permanent f2p. Although certain people won't pay for their services, it will create a stir that will cause many f2p players to wonder what the hype in members is all about. A 2-week trial is great and all, but with no flexibility beyond that two weeks, many people will be turned off to the idea.
