Since bots are under control, can we get a toggle option to disable randoms?
I bet the majority of Runescape hates Random Events..

I agree :)

I don't...afkers need incentive to actually pay attention ingame.

This is not always the case, i have tried many times to lose my rod/broke my axe due to lose attention just a few seconds and trust me... i can't have attention to the same thing hours straight.

...sounds like an attention deficit then...not the game's fault...

So,

Bots were not a deal-breaker.

Membership numbers increased.

Jagex conclusion: We will not offer full free to play service.

WTH?

They are scared to lose the number of members.
What are you, a concerned beaver?

A step in the right direction, but not the right solution yet. Let's see how this plays out the next 90 days.

I have a question.

I have an account that was never member and I want to use it on OSRS for the trial because of its name. Will it last 2 weeks or 90 days?

It will last two weeks. The 90 days is how long ex members have not had membership in order to access the trial.

Since you seem not to allow using the quote and therefor hidden my opinion i will still like to share my thoughts with the community ...

I am disappointed of your ways to handle this.

How would you like us to handle it?

I don't understand why we have to make a new account to play for 90 days. All accounts started on OSRS are reset regardless. If someone wants to play for free all they will do is just create a new account anyway, so why can't ALL existing accounts have a 90 day trial?

The only reason I see people wanting to use their old accounts for a 90 day trial is to A) Keep their username or B) Be able to chat with people they have added on their friends list.

I see that this F2P "trial" is supposed to be for "new players" only, but let's be real here... A majority of the people playing F2P are playing to re-live the F2P experience. Rather than having us create new accounts and play for 90 days, why not allow us to use old accounts. That way we can even make those accounts member if we wanted to.

I have an account that I want to play on F2P for a while at first and THEN make him member after, but I don't want to play F2P for only a couple weeks on him.

Idk.

Can you answer this post for your reasoning behind this 2-week for existing accounts and 90-days for new accounts only?

Is it because corporate just wants to have good numbers that say "XXXXXX Accounts have been created since F2P was first released!" or "A total of XXXXXX accounts have been created in Runescape history!!" Because that is foolish since we are forced to create new accounts for this period.

Not saying the above reason is why.. just me speculating.

Thank you for the initial response and I hope you answer this too

I don't think you understand. NO account has a 90 day trial, but accounts that haven't had a membership active on their account for over 90 days will be able to access the 2 week trial, as opposed to having to start a new account.

So in other words, if you had an account where the membership ran out before April, you can now log onto F2P with that account for 2 weeks.
