Have I misunderstood or is it possible for a new account to try out the F2P trial? I wanted to see if I had ever played Old School before on an another account of mine, but I couldn't log onto an F2P server.

Help, please?

I would like to note I am very pleased the F2P trial worked out and hope the expansion continues to grow the community. The introduction of a permanent F2p in the future would be fantastic!

So when is this F2p trail for old accounts supposed to open because some of my friends and some of my other old accounts are very interested but every time we attempt to log onto the f2p servers on oldschool the login box tells us that we need a members account to access. I know for a fact that none of the accounts have had members in at least 90 days (probably closer to a year or 2) and it is currently July 25th at 10am so i would have thought for sure that the trial would have started by now. Is there something special that we need to do or is it a bug on your end?

If you can give us the names, we can look at why they are not working. The other thing to be aware of is that you will need to have accessed Old School at least once to be able to access the trial. If you haven't, you can make a new account instead and access the trial.

This seems like it will clear up a few problems. I think you guys should make this more transparent. I didn't see this condition when I looked through the news post, perhaps I missed it?

So in other words for those people who haven't played at all for years and haven't touched old school because they heard that you would have to make a new account and there wasn't any free to play within say the last year. They still cant access old school through their old main account since they "haven't accessed oldschool" before. In other words the people that were away and didn't want to pay to come back so didn't play oldschool at all yet still cant come back on their old accounts? These are accounts that have been around since long before 2007 they just haven't been touched in about a year or two. Shouldn't trying to get onto f2p osrs count as accessing oldschool? how else are these accounts supposed to regain access? Seems unfair to me to say oh well you haven't payed to play osrs before so you are still not going to be allowed access to f2p osrs.

The user of my friend what i am trying to get to play is littlebego93 btw. I was testing the system with another one of my accounts that i used to have way back when that goes by the username wiz kid70
