Bringing back corp is a bad idea. The more new items you add the less its like " August 2007" Change the description on your homepage its not like 2007 anymore, just an everchanging game that will go out of style because of bad updates like EOC, Spirit Shields, and Armour from Nex. Clearly you can't see the game will die without updates like corp. Grand exchange is also an update that should happen but losers like you vote no because it doesn't have the "old school feeling". The game has to progress. Without larger updates game will die fast.

And it will die even faster if updates that lead to situation where EoC was necessary are repeated here. By the time EoC came, it was because current items in game were so powerful that options that Jagex had was either revamping the combat system entirely (which they tried with EoC) or removing those game-breaking items altogether (what eventually happened with reintroduction of Oldschool RS).

I'm all in for new content, but only when it's carefully balanced so that the cluster**** that led to EoC doesn't end up repeated simply because people missing their overpowered gear want them back without thinking about consequences.

Maybe it could be introduced through a mini quest with the Wise Old Man with a requirement of 175 quest points. This would be similar to the Bar Crawl mini quest and Zamorak Mage mini quest where you would receive no quest points upon completion.

Short Breakdown of Mini Quest
Talk to Wise Old Man in Draynor
Talk to Zavi*tic Rarve at Wizards Guild (can be done by ringing the bell outside)
Head out to the Corporal Beasts Cave
Return to Wise Old Man

It could start as simply as talking to the Wise Old Man in Draynor in which he will tell you of the breaking and terrifying news of a new beast that has arrived in the lands of Gielinor and that you the noble adventurer (with 175 quest points) must go investigate the beasts lair. In which the Wise Old Man now asks that you seek assistance from Zavi*tic Rarve at the Wizard's guild in Yanille who he has heard rumors that he can provide you with brand new prototype called the Wizard hat of Protection (just a special blue wizards hat) allowing you to investigate the beast's lair safely as it will teleport you to safety as soon as the beast inflicts damage to you. At this point you will travel to wherever the cave is located and proceed to see the beast with your very own eyes. Once inside the cave you will walk through the cave to the final passage where you will a short cut scene involving a fellow adventurer (GWDkilla101) who will tell you that he will be the first person to slay this mighty beast and that his name will go down in history as the greatest adventurer to walk the land. At this point you see GWDkilla101 walk in and immediately get killed by the beast. Now you must put on your trusty wizards hat and approach the Corporal Beast who during a short cut scene could show off all of his attacks and finally attack you and at this point your trusty wizards hat will teleport you to safety back to the wizards guild and now you must return to the Wise Old Man to inform him of your findings.

Corp doesn't change anything to all those 'haters' stating it will lead to eoc, blah blah, etc. The drops off the corp were main problem for me, being the spirit shields/sigils.

The Corp boss itself was fun, interesting and even its lesser drops were quite generous so it made it a rewarding boss. However I agree it does need something "signature" on its drop table with a high rarity. - probably best if it is something totally different to sigils though. We do lack a good helmet or even some 'add on' items for example something added to the seercull to make it a bow worth using! Elixir to be used on Seercull?

some other ideas for item add-ons also welcome :)

I think it's a very good idea to bring corp back with it's original drops. Why decreasing the stats of the shields? they are very very rare! and it's good for the economy ;) divine was one of the most expensive shields, and was worth like partyhats...

IF corporeal beast returns, i recommend bringing lootshare into the game!

Introduce sigils, the severe rarity of them will make them no trouble in regards to them being abundant, by the time every tom **** and harry has one, 07 will have died.

Sigils are what made corp worthwhile to go to, although something needs to be done about coinshare/lootshare. You have to be kidding yourself if you think the trust based system we have now will work with corps extremely overpriced drops.

I don't see the point in having a combat requirement, people that aren't maxed will have a tough time anyway. I do think there should be a hard requirement such as 200+ qp at least! I wouldn't want to make anything require a questcape though, I think alot of the people that currently have one wouldn't like this because it would take alot of the prestige away from it, because all pvmers will have one.
