This is great, getting Corporal Beast into the game, but I would rather have open f2p worlds to have new people join the game. No point in adding lots of great updates if there isn't many people to enjoy them. :)

DFS+ HOLY Elixir = "HOLY FIRE SHIELD"

DFS+Spectral sigil = "Spectral FIRE Shield"

DFS+ Arcane sigil = "ARCAME FIRE SHIELD"

DFS+ Elysian sigil = "ELYSIAN FIRE SHIELD'

DFS+ Divine sigil = "Divined fire shield"

and give them their own special abilitys/stats

No. The DFS is already unique, it's got very good defense stats, it has the best str bonus in the game for an off-hand and it even works against dragons. Nothing else is like the DFS, that's why it's amazing. These shields also need to be unique and there's no reason to combine them with a DFS. Corp has nothing to do with dragons, it's pointless.

After corp's release the DFS was useless, Ely/divine were better than it so it crashed the DFS so much

DFS's were in a tailspin price wise before corp released... And I wasn't aware that Divine and Ely had protection against dragonfire, nor was I aware that those 2 shields were common and affordable to the masses. Also, based on the price trends, I'm almost 100% sure the Divine and Ely had little impact on what was going on with the value of the DFS.

How should we introduce it?

I think the corporeal beast cave should be added to the new continent that you guys are working on instead of it being in the wilderness. The requirements to enter the cave should be very high. I think corp would be a great endgame boss for 07.

What should it drop?

Introduce Spirit Shields as rare drops - Change no stats or effects.

Like I said, I always thought that the sigils/shields that corp dropped was really good endgame gear. I disagree with you guys having to consistently release new high level gear.

Also make hastas work on corp please!

i would like corp beast but i don't know if skillers will be having it so,
we gotta twist the poll question like

"would you like corporal beast added to the game, oh and this new fletching update that we can't do if we don't get corp"

In my opinion, Corp should require a high quest point requirement (200+) aswell as a decently high combat level requirement (100+) due to the fairly high requirements of the boss in RS3. The most difficult boss in the game should be slain by the most experienced PvM'ers, not massive amounts of noobs. As far as the drops go, seeing sigils reintroduced as how they were would produce this drop hype for the players interested in killing it. If there is no "amazing loot" who is going to put forth the effort to killing this big *******? No one. Other potential drops could be Ranging Amulets, Best in slot headgear, or Wilderness armor (Statius/Vesta items). Introducing the Dragon Platebody or other Dragon Weaponry could be dropped by Corp or other potential slayer monsters in the future? Pls ;)

I Skulled I said :
No NO No NO NO NO NO!

NO TO DIVINE SPIRIT SHIELD! its too OP. Max Hybrids are too
STRONG AND UN-KILLABLE!

NO TO SPIRIT SHIELDS! NO NO NO NO

This is the beginning of EOC.

Next they will want to bring back STORM OF ARMADYL AND TORVA ARMOR

NO TO CORPORAL BEAST AND
NO TO "OP" ARMOR
AND NO TO STORM OF ARMADYL.

NO TO DIVINE SPIRIT SHIELD! its too OP. Max Hybrids are too
STRONG AND UN-KILLABLE!

storm of armadyl + virtus armor + DIVINE SHIELD = most stupid OVER POWERED stacking of armor and abilities = END OF 07 RS

Your post is the epitome of the slippery slope fallacy. You're an idiot. Just because spirit shields are proposed does not mean EoC is coming.

Anyway, I can't remember if the spirit shields had any soaking abilities on release or what the big deal with the Elysian and Divine was. If there is it might need some reduction, but it shouldn't be too big of a deal.

-200 qp requirement
-110 combat requirement

These two things combine with how challenging the boss is will allow spirit shields to be added to the game. Their price will be enormous thus balancing out their power. If you want one, you're going to have to shell out the big bucks.

Price is irrelevant when Jagex allows people to buy bonds with irl $, sell for gp and transfer it to oldschool.

You do realize the price for gold with bonds translates to $5 USD/m when transferred to old school, right? If someone wants to spend $3500 to get a damn elysian or divine, they have a problem and it will happen with or without bonds and that can't be prevented. Price is relevant.

Bringing back corp is a bad idea. The more new items you add the less its like " August 2007" Change the description on your homepage its not like 2007 anymore, just an everchanging game that will go out of style because of bad updates like EOC, Spirit Shields, and Armour from Nex. Think up some new content quit bringing stuff from EOC if people want that go play EOC
