Simply put, summarizing all the Reddit ranting, will this seriously only stop if the law steps in and actually FORCES Jagex to stop?

We were able to have real weekly updates before, that weren't broken, and we could again.

I worry due to the law only covering gambling , even if the worst comes to pass, they'll just literally start selling 99's for around $20 a pop.

Am I doing enough by permanently un-subbing from actual money and only using my leftover gp on a bond when enough good updates pile up? Each whale counts for thousands of mes in Jagex's eyes, and it's disheartening to continually see that demonstrated week after week.

If you like the action bar combat, WoW's still pretty good. 8.2 addressed a lot of the issues, plus they have that Classic version now. Been using that to deal with the withdrawal.

It's hard to leave permanently after 16 years, even if the relationship has turned abusive. Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

Nothing MTX-ish is added this week. I don't see where the complaint came from.

Laws don't cover only gambling. They cover all online harm including financial harm such as spending too much money on bonds, among other things like excessive grinding (OMG 8 hours a day sweat shop farming) that may lead to addictive behaviors or mental disorder (WHO's ICD-10 classification), toxicity, trolling and abusive behaviors etc etc etc.

But Jagex already said they are going to talk with UKIE to continue to provide safe and healthy games to all their players. :)

They will take most of their profits in taxes etc anyway.

Yeah just a shame people didn't do it long ago.

Well if you want to live in a world where there are decent games to play then that's life.

If you look at New York when it comes to vaping they are not allowing any lopeholes in the system allowing to sell vaping products. If gambling aspect is removed they will probably take advantage of lopeholes and sell xp directly.

What? Smashing Relics running currently this week give a lot of gp? I don't think so. Nothing is anything worse than last week.

If u buy bonds with gp u are still sort of supporting jagex...

I mean, the more you buy the less there are, and the higher gp price for bonds.. as such, people are more compelled to buy bonds. Skillet? Skill no.

So much moot.
