I recommend you understand how to DPS and how powerful invention perks are. Superior Elite Void has a higher DPS output than unaugmented T90 power armor. Once augmented, T80 power armor becomes much, much more powerful. It's a 'cosmetic' in the sense that augmented T70 gear (or superior eltie void) has a higher DPS output than this. Using this instead of their augmentable counterparts is silly.

I don't know why you're trying to sit and hide behind the 'iTs OnLy A cOsMeTiC' farce when it isn't. It has stats, regardless of how good it is, it's still T80. It's a gateway into newer things, Torva, Superior Zuriels, Nox weapons, T92. It's only a matter of time, open your eyes to see the bigger picture instead of being a little puppet on Jagex's strings.

Also i'm aware of the effect in which how powerful invention perks are. In every single PvM scenario or situation in the game, Sup Elite Void is not outright better than unaugmented T90 power. And even if it was, what the fuck has that got to do with the current situation? Compare stats all you want, "Lucky" Virtus is just going to be a gateway into more over-powered promotions.

The only update I was hoping to see about this promotion was it being cancelled as a gesture of goodwill, especially with the recent community uproar against MTX promotions pushing it too far.

The justification of them being untradable, un-augmentable, and un-disassemblable isn't enough. It's taken a well-established reward space and forcefully injected microtransactions into it. Disappointing to see.

Not too satisfied with MTX powercreep, but I guess they gotta up the ante before the game goes into the MTX-driven mobile market...

Predictions
1)
Part of the set (intentionally) won't prevent GWD aggro.
They'll hotfix it to prove how important things can be to them, ( because MTX = high priority )

2)
They'll further try to justify this MTX powercreep by saying
"We're not directly selling the best-in-slot gear, so it won't negatively affect your gameplay!"

3)
If Shadow gem Torva and Pernix aren't released at the same time, Pernix will come next,
because t80 melee armor isn't popular for high level bosses, and wouldn't sell as many keys.

4)
Shadow gem Teralith, Tempest, & Primeval raid armor is coming before the end of 2021.
We'll get to use Shadow upgrade gem to upgrade it into Achto Shadow gem armor.
Menu entry swapper should be classified as botting.
