Nah bratan, you don't understand what I'm saying: if the MTX were truly optional, then you would be able to get it, in this case the "shadow gem virtus armor", in the exact same manner as you do by purchasing the MTX, minus the monetary payment . Many people are not going to be lucky and win this from free spins alone, so if they desire either of the two before-mentioned things, they're gonna have to pay extra money to get this (or someone else is gonna have to pay it, if they were to buy it using gp on bonds).

Jagex knows all too well that probability is unkind to many people when you need to strike lucky with a super rare chance, and that there are lots of players who desire for various fashionscape in the game. So even though getting this new virtus armor isn't mandatory practically speaking, those players are still exploited on, so there's no real choice.

I don't know if you're dumb or just plain ignorant. It's T80 gear, what makes it cosmetic? And how would elite void be better than this?

I recommend you understand how to DPS and how powerful invention perks are. Superior Elite Void has a higher DPS output than unaugmented T90 power armor. Once augmented, T80 power armor becomes much, much more powerful. It's a 'cosmetic' in the sense that augmented T70 gear (or superior eltie void) has a higher DPS output than this. Using this instead of their augmentable counterparts is silly.

You don't have to tell me this, I did read the post, but it makes no difference: invention is an elite skill which not everyone can use, let alone all of them having the perks worth using on it. And before you compare this to equipment which have to be earned, do remember that this can be bought, rather than having to be earned.
