When will I be able to earn elite outfits outside of treasure hunter? Why should I have to buy bonds to earn an outfit that should be available through dungeoneering? Why can't I buy it with tokens? Why the small release?

I gave up caring about treasure hunter a while back, but please, if things are released on that, let them be able to be earned in game.

like i dont meme to simplify the problems here but why not just stop throwing away money on stuff like streamer houses and 20k+ ec dead man to rot.... i mean the people who "win" the different challenges that only .1% of players who have 20/hrs a day to play win, steamers on stage being last alive stuff like that i know it might not be a ton of money but you can just there alone higher more people. maybe u count the 2 games as different entities so in your books the money from one dose not get used on the other idk but if these updates and somehow mobile is going to bring in all these new players and new money just do it for a little let the bored members know like yo soz this quarter is not going to be that good here is why and here is what will happen and if they so no then just let the players know that so we can decide if this is still worth our time and effort. sorry again to "under simplify" this but like the game was going strong for so so long before MTX so why not just do what you was doing then u had a wining formula u changed it for some reason u messed up everyone knows it so just fix it and lets move on. the only games that need to really on MTX is free to play games u are not that so just get some good content out there not a quest/hollowen event but things that will bring people back or have people say wow look at this game i want to play it. for example and i am not compering you to wow in a o look at them emulate them but they release consistent updates yes not the best every week but you always have something to do u did not do the day before well making a new expansion every year i am not saying lets make some bs expansion that is supper op and then make us pay for it muhaha no i am saying do small updates that keep us going but give us and other people a reason to stay not a 1/hr quest about pirates but new stuff new content that changes and helps the game not just a o grate lets look at a page for 1-2/hrs about a quest. I swear, the only reason they are working on mobile out of the blue and putting other things on hold JUST FOR THAT is because they looked at the many mobile games that run constant promotions and thought "Mmm... what a yummy piggy bank I see there."

The little lawyer written apology post you left here should have been posted on the front page so everyone could see it, but no... you're so ashamed of yourselves that you hide it unannounced in the rarely perused forum in hopes nobody sees it or whatever.

This game was all I did back in the day, the quests and community were great... the mini games weren't dead content, the holidays worth all the hype, and skilling meant something and was sociable.

I used to fork over some money for MTX, mostly for cosmetics but not any longer. You've kept spamming and spamming and it had gone way too far.

For those that would try to buy keys or spins for those cosmetics, it got hard for the wallets to keep up... especially if they aimed on having all the outfits in the game - which in itself is a fruitless effort.

The constant promos and not to mention exp selling has finally reached the tipping point where players' patience have worn thin. When you can max an account by waiting for a specific promotion to be run, what's the point of being competitive? Trust me, it's been done before as A Friend demonstrated.

At this point, when I get some time... I'm going to finish up what few quests I have left to do just for the sake of finishing them. It's not like I'm going to get very many the next year anyway if 2017 was something to go by.

I'll not be renewing my VIP membership this year and will not send a single cent more your way until Jagex, IVP, and the chinese investors fix this mess. If not, then I quit the game and will watch as my once favorite game withers and dies in peace.

On the /r/Runescape post Q&A, I read one of the developer's reply being concerned that removing Second-Chance Tuesdays might affect their profits harshly. If that's the case then I'm scared for this game's future. A company who can't go a day without a promotion when they got through without MTX back then is brewing trouble.
