"Mtx" is a blanket group regardless of what it sells. We don't hate "mtx" as a whole; we hate the ones that are selling absurd quantities of XP. I'm not a huge fan of Solomon's, but if you need to sell fox tails to keep the electric on: fine, do it. However, don't be selling XP in such copious amounts that one hardcore spin2winner can gain more XP in one day than many of my friends have ever acquired.

Get creative with mtx even if it means you have to put more effort into it than spinning a physical wheel in the office for which OP promo to do next. For example: prize boxes bought with RCs. They would have untradable stuff, but also cosmetics of varying rarity that can't be acquired by other means. I can assure you, there are a lot of people that will overspend even with marginal returns if it means getting some cosmetic that few others have or they simply like the look of it.

Combining your TH business model with Solomon's should help bring in money without ruining skilling further.

Quality/Quantity of Content

I actually have to disagree with the notion of newer content being of a lower quality. There are exceptions, depending on the update, but I generally like the content that's being added to the game.

However, I agree that the quantity of new game content seems to have dwindled. I still believe that quality updates should take precedent over the amount of updates we receive.

Content Rating System

I think this will be an excellent addition to the game. Presumably, it will give developers access to a wider swath and a greater amount of feedback regarding updates. I look forward to seeing this feature go live.

Treasure Hunter

Over the past couple of years, my play style has changed significantly in that I no longer play competitively. Thus, whether or not someone wants to purchase XP (through TH) or money (through bonds) doesn't really affect my game. For this reason, my view of TH is not loathsome as it is for many others. What I dislike most about the feature is the degree to which it takes time away from game content development.

Regardless, I like that TH may shift more toward cosmetics and conveniences, as these kinds of prizes cater more to my play style.

I am going to make this simple because I haven't played this game for almost 9 months and really don't give a fuck.

You don't care for the community and you react on your own selfish well being. If you really cared you would have listened to us in the high level community who were making suggestions with facts. Do your research before doing anything. If something is not good enough at first, that isn't a bad thing because that means it has room for improvement so you can address that later.

Not checking for grammar I don't care enough.

Thank you for the post.

I think 2017 has been a great year though, and there was no need to apologise for lack of content. I loved Menaphos, particularly the Menaphos journal and Slayer codex.

I look forward to watching the stream tomorrow. :)

So, i think the main thing you guys should do is REMOVE ENTIRELY OP exp items from runescape (smouldering lamps, hydra lamps, etc). Leave only the prismatic ones (even tho i would like to see you guys remove all of them, but let's take it easy for now.)
Deliver the updates fully, not in batches like most stuff we got. Even tho you guys want to bring new players, there aren't many (atm) so you should probably just add late game stuff for now. Menaphos and the others features for low level/mid level are good for now. Work on lore development, new and good mechanics/bosses, and please, PLEASE try to communicate more with us, really. Don't leave us in the dark without answers and that kind of stuff. Other things to see: Rework on auras (cooldown/time needed to get them all) and balance on other stuff. And add tier 99 soon please.

meh. feels like jagex is whining wah we know you hate mtx but we luvs munnies. how long til membership price increases again? $9.49 going to be like $12 a month to make up for less mtx? wouldn't be surprised to see locked in continued membership price go away at this point. not that i even fork out $5 a month. Guess i should though considering members is 32m gp a month atm and continued membership isn't taken into bond membership calculations. i can't believe i can still afford to keep bond members going all these years, but it does keep my money pouch empty..... i'm jagex's personal goldfarmer 10 hrs a month or so. dailyscaping to play more dailyscape + occasional event/quest

been keeping members going almost a decade. can i bring myself to give up on rs? maybe. jagex is pushing more of us away everyday. im a little hopeful mobile will give rs3 the cpr it needs, but after the failure of HTML5 and the rocky start and still slow goings of NXT, I'm genuinely scared for ya Jagex. i wouldn't invest in ya or bet on ya. kings of empty promises with a thick history of biting off more than you can chew

on another point of membership benefits, loyalty store be dead. premium membership seemed to murder it. regular members get almost nothing from it anymore. free monthly solomon's item seems to be significant less often than monthly now as well if im not mistaken

tl;dr lolz sadface. how long til jagex sells maxed accounts?

MTX may be a necessary evil, but it remains evil and many of us believe it ruined RS3.

Once upon a time, I played a lot on my original account, Choobokka, which was comped before Priff came out. MTX ruined the game and I barely keep that account active.

Please don't ruin ironman with MTX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been playing for 15 years. Only reason I stuck around was because of RSOS didn't have pay-to-win like does EOC 2012.

Squeal of Fortune was the worst April Fools joke ever. I was wondering when you would remove it. Figured after the feedback proof from A_Friend that you can simply buy spins to max an account in 1 day would be enough for you to realize TH/SOF is harming the community.

Earned XP and hard 99s is what made classic the best version thus far. It got easier in 2005 with RS2 and your "make-all" button. But now that people can buy gold legally with bonds, and buy XP lamps and sets with cash on Treasure Hunter seems to be why everyone on RSOS calls RS3 "easy scape".
