I still miss my daily check of the oddment store to see if stars or lamps were on sale...
It became a daily part of the game that is gone now - bad update !!!

I'd have to agree with this.

Never had a lot of oddments but I'd wait for a sale use some of my oddments for bonus exp to help getting to the next level, level up some and wait for the next sale.

By waiting until I gained a level or two higher before using more, I'd get more per star. So like others have said it made it a bit of a game inside a game.

The ability to spend all my oddments in one day is actually a disadvantage.

Guess it was getting to be a problem at the TH department.

What irritates me is not the change so much as pitching it as "Improve the Oddments Store experience in general."

Seems like a stretch at best, greedy and meanspirited at the worst.

TL DR - Don't pee on my foot and tell me its raining, lol

That's because some people didn't want oddments discount, like this one:

And why are they keeping the daily buy limits (albeit slightly higher than before)? The whole point of introducing the limits was to prevent people from abusing it on days when prices were 75 % by spending months of collected oddments. But if they're going to cost the same every single day regardless there's really no reason to keep a limit. Who cares if I spend 250k oddments to buy 1 000 medium lamps over the course of 17 days or if I blast through 1 000 of them in a single day? Either way I'll gain just the same amount of xp.

The difference is you gain the xp faster or slower. There is also a big difference if we are allowed to buy everything in 1 day, as this can be easily seen when everybody will just buy all xp items in 1 day during DXP and such.

Well........you won't have to worry about lamps during DXP because they don't double. SO, with that in mind the slight price reduction is pure nerf and there is NO reason to have a buy limit at all. There is no improvement in the oddment store "experience" because I see nothing that is better now. Let's just resign to the reality that this is a Nerf .

DXP is not the only time we can use any items on the Oddments Store. Lamps are not the only items on the Oddments Stores that get their buy limit doubled either. For instance, how is being able to buy twice as many bankable Cinder and Pulse Cores daily not an improvement?

I miss when we were able to buy a second lot of 75% stars and lamps at reset when they took a few minutes to change the sale price :D

Tbh I'm not bothered about this update I got bored of checking every day and I'm not always active so might as well take the loss and use all the oddments I got stocked up.
Hi stranger ;)

TH seems to have gone from one extreme to another.
I'll admit it was sometimes over-generous before but now it's the opposite.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

Some promotions are better than the others. For instance, I am getting 5x to 7x prizes in the new Rainbow Trial promotion. They make better usage of oddments as we use them to buy bonus to boost our prizes multiplier and/or rarity.
