new th was a scam they evon nerfed all ower portable packs evon know on the news post it said they won't, yet they nerfd evey one of my portable packs that ive won before the 25th aparil.. lets all report and ban mods for scamming.....

Brooch spawns Divine blessing wich gives a change on 4x invention materials,
while doing generic skilling and killing activities.

What about activities when the Brooch has no effects on? Why don't you wear a cinder or pulse cores when Brooch has no effect?

It doesnt seem worth it anymore. Unless you are interested in getting 50k oddment pets. It seems to be more cosmetic and less about xp. This doesnt have to be a bad thing but its not longer something to get excited about.

It was just nice to log in every day and see what you would get. In that regard nothing did change i guess but it does feel a lot worse somehow. O well.

And yes my portable packs did get nerfed as well. Its a few million loss if convert it to buying portables. Its not the end of the world but its a disapointment as the ones you had where supposed to not change.

A lot of us who play instead of pay for the game actually are getting more xp because we accumulated oddments faster than we could consume them because of the smaller daily xp item purchase limit.

Surely you can't be serious. If you had a ton of oddments you must have been sitting on them, or only engaging in promos that led to oddment profits.

They are going to dry up real fast since you can't win more.

I got most of my oddments from Premier Club and live events like Yak Track, Beach and Christmas events and such. I rarely won any oddments from TH as I almost never converted prizes to oddments.

Hint hint... Just from Premier Club stipend we are getting 12k free oddments a year, and from Yak Tracks the last 12 months we got 18k of them already.

That's fine, but you were saying you gain them faster than you can spend them with the previous limits.

Like, you were trying to spend them all but you kept gaining more.

Of course I gained them much faster than I used them because I am maxed, and even for those who aren't maxed most of them would save them for special promotions or events.

For a fact, oddment prizes have been a very short-lived experiment. They weren't even winnable as a prize for the vast majority of the 4+ years of TH's existence. It had never been a major source of oddments so it can't be a major loss of oddments now.

But the post I was replying to you said you get more xp now because you can cash them out faster.

Now you say you weren't using them at all, which is what I suggested.

Yes, I got more xp daily now WHEN I want to use them. I am not using everything blinding daily on nonevents just like I am not using any of my currencies including real money in the real world just because I have them.

I also forgot to add now we don't only can buy more of the same items from Oddments Store, but they are also 12.5% cheaper too. It means we get more bang for our oddments. It definitely translate to even more xp for the same amount of oddments. One eighth less cost for the same item is quite significant.
