Currently you can use the current loot duel promo event to convert prizes into oddments. This combined with the current promo with 50% off keys in the oddment store is allowing players to have unlimited treasure hunter keys. This will crash the economy and needs a look into.

There is no abuse AFAIK because there is no bug to exploit. Bug abuse will be something like duping items or turning something into maxed cash Jagex does not intend for their games.

In case of real bug abuse, Jagex rolled back their game in several occasions already and issued us a report. Evidently it is not the case in actual good promotions intended to give players a limited time good deal. :)

I'm not sure how it's a bug--does Jagex offer 50% oddment discount for keys during other promotions? If so, I'm not sure how buying the keys at 50% off is a bug. And if Jagex offers the discount during other promotions, how can players know THIS particular 50% off discount is a bug?

What would happen if I bought keys with oddments at 50% off and then kept those keys stocked until the next promotion to use them? Would it still be considered abuse?

I can't see anything wrong with stocking up on keys, just like I can't see anything wrong with players taking advantage of what happened here. Without the hotfix, the overlap in promotions would have ended at reset time anyways.
