Would age make you a stronger warrior? No, just a more experienced one. And how much age cripples you in a fantasy world doesn't mirror what I would expect in the real world. Can only people fight with melee? Hell yeah, otherwise having the eldery WGs would be impossible. The fact that Tiffy is even at this fight (even if you want to debate what he did) shows that old people are still capable. You think the Temple Knights sent anything but their finest to this? Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

What I would like to know is, did Bilrach really get that much stronger after killing the Chelon-Mah? And is it possible to transfer energy from killing a god/divine aspect such as Mahjarrat into something else? For example Sliske inputting the energy he got from killing Guthix into his projects and empowering the Barrows Brothers. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

He's a mahjarrat. It doesn't matter what tier he is. He is still dangerous.
it matters
have you read the lores and histories thing on bilrach?
the dude seems like he rivals gods
here is a link, which I hope I'm allowed to post since it just goes to a part of the runescape site

Who's more likely to beat Telos?
You with full Tier 90 gear or Woox 1 iteming with a bouquet of flowers?

Tiers are bs. You're thinking about it too hard.
Runescape isn't Yu-gi-oh. pokemon go? maybe ...

Wasn't Bilrach on the verge of death when he made it to the bottom of Daemonheim? Regardless of whether or not he was hiding his true power before going in, all of that digging, summoning, and fighting would have taken a lot out of him - and during this time he isn't attending any rituals, if there were any (I don't remember.) Let's assume that he was lower Tier 7 or 8 by the time he made it down - that puts him close to the same level as Moia, right?

Correct me if I'm wrong here. I'm not 100% caught up with the Daemonheim lore.

tbh the bouqet of flowers is more likely to beat telos than I am :P

the mahjarrat tiers aren't that accurate but they're also not intended to be... they're almost a 'just for fun' thing. The god tiers are more signifigant although the only surprise there was how powerful seren was

to hazeel... I said my piece about tiffy... and obviously I'm not going to convince you so... that's the end of that, I guess :P Ancient Drew said :

it's implied or outright said that the chelon mah was pretty weak at that point, so I still imagine the portals are going to be the bigger power boost

So was the Chelon-Mah simply killing for philosophy like Bandos? Or had it been sacrificing each of its own and prolonging its lifespan and power this entire time?

This final Chelon-Mah could have been a weak old warrior, possibly on the brink of insanity due to loneliness, perhaps even wanting to be put out of its misery in that wasteland.
Or It could have been the accumulative power of its entire tribe, forced into a single vessel.
Seeing Bilrach as a final challenge, and a way off that planet to pick new fights.

The mental state and combat ability of the Chelon-Mah is questionable, but they definitely had a lot of power, hence the strange power impacting all of Gielinor. Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain.
