Dark clouds swirled around the whole islands, almost out of nowhere it seemed, though Vasador knew the time slipped by when your eyes were glued to the sea, not the sky.
That druid said it’d be clear all week! Da-
His thoughts were cut short when the lightning exploded a ship he saw in the distance.
And that was my ride home. Great. Just wonderful, a season with the snot nosed islanders. Why, Guthix? What did I do wro-
His boat was rocking uncomfortably now, and Vasador’s catch was flying away.
Again.
More problems, wonderful…
Vasador loved the sea, but now he just wanted to be back on dry land…
That’s when the wave hit. He’d been so busy securing his catch he didn't notice the wave the ship in the bay had made when it sank. His little boat was instantly swept into the air, rocking it over, turning like a barrel, in the waves.
Vasador struggled to keep his breath as he swam to the surface, clutching the splintering wood near him for support. His head did spins until he discovered the shattered remains of his little boat. Mast slowly sinking, hull split in two.
Fish?
Hah, forget about it…
Great. And I had just bought that…
Vasador turned back to see how far away the land was- but was instead greeted by yet another wave. This one looked like it could have swallowed the entire island. Well, at least to the short man struggling to tread it did. At least Vasador couldn’t say he didn't see it coming.
Uh-oh.
"We call it being a hero"
"That's interesting, we call it utter stupidity"
