You know how Zaros is. Very pragmatic. Doesn't waste time with social calls. In Fate of the Gods, when you try to ask his opinion on specific individuals, he's basically like: "Do you really want to talk about this
now
?", and only complies because he wants to be on your good side. In Sliske's Endgame, when you walk in on his conversation with Seren he doesn't even stop to chat, and just leaves after you give him his invitation.
Would have been funny if the player could use the Shard of Zaros to prank call him.
Anyways, I'm getting off topic. He hasn't called on Wahi or Akthanakos yet, because he hasn't needed them just yet. There's no use for them. Azzandra is more powerful and more loyal than either of them. He literally created Nex, so her loyalty is assured as well. And for some reason he has a soft spot for Char.
And let's be honest here. All Wahi really did to aid Zaros's return was point the player towards 'Doctor Nabanik.' He never tried to free Azzanadra, Nex, Char, or Akthanakos from their respective prisons. If he did try, he failed. And then there's Akthanakos himself, who did literally nothing but sit in a pyramid.
Meanwhile, both Nex and Char fought to their last breath to fulfill their duties, and Azzanadra and the player are the number one reason for Zaros's return in the first place.
I really hope Wahi doesn't betray Zaros simply because: "He never called meeeeeeeeee!"
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
