I've seen individual threads discussing general highlights of Sliske's Endgame, as well as specific gods, but I decided to compile a list of how I view each of the gods based off the new lore we were given. Feel free to add your own individual assessments as well.

Without further ado...

Zaros
: Pretty disappointed in him actually. I found his tantrum over Jas' rejection to be petty and rather undignified. Though since talking to Azzanadra post quest, I at least am glad to hear he has gained an increased drive rather than continuing to pointlessly seethe. While I don't know if his ambition will lead to him successfully ascending to elder status, I do hope he is able to save the Illujanka and create life. At the moment I'm just not sure how helpful I can be, or how useful he sees me. Still consider myself a Zarosian, but if his ambition drives him further to an 'ends justify the means' approach I might need to reconsider.

Seren
: She seems to have calmed down since CoM. I wasn't fond of her attempt to usurp Zaros and steal the stone, but fully approve of her willingness to work with Armadyl to set up a new permanent home for the Aviansie to share with Shapeshifters. Overall, I came out of the quest with a higher opinion of her. She's just got to keep her cool about her.

Saradomin
: Not a whole lot to say. His vulgar defense of the Garlandia incident only further convinced me that he's a dangerous psychopath who ought to be killed first chance we get.

Armadyl
: The only one who seemingly acted reasonably throughout the whole quest. I appreciated learning about his own backstory the most out of all the new lore provided, and found his decision to maintain some semblance to a mortal lifestyle by having a family post ascendancy to be refreshing.

Zamorak
: As much as I want to like Zamorak, he came across as a bid of a lunatic in the quest. Not a nice dude. Makes light of genocide. Sucks at mazes. I've decided Gielinor would be better off with him dead as well.

Overall I'd say I gained a higher regard for Armadyl and Seren, an even lower view of Saradomin and Zamorak, and have grown to be skeptical of Zaros now that he's on the proverbial warpath to become an elder god.

For this quest, Uni's Gold Star God Award goes to Armadyl, for teaching us the importance of maintaining our humanity even in the darkest of times, and for showing us there's no wrong way to love another chicken.

You may post

Saradominists keep out.

You're not my real dad.

You should've expected that Zaros would react badly to being denied his goals. Both Seren and Guthix warned you that Zaros was the kind of person who would take whatever steps necessary to achieve his goals. Then there was the whole "I don't subscribe to notions of good and evil" in FotG, and "I'm going to make the world perfect " in TLW.

Overall I came out with respect for Seren and Armadyl, contempt but begrudging respect for Zamorak (bit disappointed he's letting himself be swayed by Zaros' aura again), and suprise that Saradomin was willing to listen to my efforts to push him to listen to Seren and was willing to give up the Stone to Seren to save his daughter considering his addiction.

Zaros is making me more and more uneasy. I made him whole because I thought he was a rational kind of guy who the Elders would listen to. But now WE are their agent and mediator between them and all existence. That was supposed to be the role Zaros was going to play, our whole reason for helping him, now he's redundant, and that makes me uneasy. Zaros seems willing to throw everyone under the bus to get Elder Godhood and doesn't take kindly to Jas telling him it's impossible.

It seems to me his plan to prove his worth will have relatively positive outcomes regardless, if he manages to save the dragon riders. It just seems that his sense of entitlement might push him to revert back to his older ways, which I thought he abandoned.

At the moment, he's simply had his pride wounded and has shown no signs that he's a threat to Gielinor or it's inhabitants, and he still owes Armadyl that favor, which I also believe will have positive consequences whatever it is. (Based on my play through)

Because I don't know what his future path will look like, I have no idea if he plans to do distasteful things to reach his goal. Still, I understand why he's upset and can't judge him for wanting to prove Jas wrong. I just know a large ego is a very dangerous thing, and that is my primary issue with someone like Saradomin.

I got the Zamorak being swayed by Zaros event too, after his followers were ejected. In Zammy's defense, he lost his godly powers making him vulnerable to Zaros natural persuasive abilities, although that raises the question of how he managed to muster enough contempt to ever betray Zaros in the first place. I guess time heals all wounds.

The thing that's bugged me recently though is how Zamorak and the Mahjarrat act toward Seren about the Mah issue. Sure she's the reason why they're near extinct, but she's also the reason they aren't completely extinct. Meanwhile, most of them have done unspeakably horrible acts for purely selfish reasons, with Zamorak making light of mass genocide.

One final note: it's implied Zammy had a one night stand with Marimbo. Does he have any monkey shaped tattoos we should know about?

I understand. The thing is though, Zaros has a bit of an ego too. And a temper as shown when Jas basically told him to get lost. So we'll see what happens, we know Zaros isn't taking "no" for an answer. Looks like he's going to ask each of the other Elder Gods for help.

As a side but interesting note to go with this, how has this quest effected your opinion of the faction followers?

Azzanadra surprised me with his very obvious disgust of Moia, not because of her alligence but her actual race and appearance. Of all the Mahjarrat to react in such a way I didn't think it would be him.

Lol, poor Moia. I actually felt bad for her when Zaros and Azzanadra started to talk about her. Kudos to Zamorak for saying she can speak for herself.
