-Adamant and Runite dragons appear quite different than others, who have clearly defined backswept crests and more muscular torsos. Adamant in particular is much more serpentine, and Runite has a weird half circle thing around its head. Do they come from different wyrm stock than other dragons? Perhaps they were created later?

I was under the impression that metal dragons were made of... well, metal.

I'd like to point out, though, runite dragons are likely made from a Kethsian creature, as they're found on Kethsi.

Metal dragons are still dragons, not some sort of elemental. They're metal plated, derived from chromatic dragons who were magically coated in molten metal while within the egg.

Ah, I hadn't considered that these dragons might come from Kethsian creatures. It's possible. That said, Necrosy*tes did/do keep dragons as beasts of war and guard dogs, from at least the second age onward, and it also seems lorefully feasible that they would have brought some to Keth*i. But, up until this point, we'd seen nothing to suggest that Dactyl made their way to Kethsi, and the prospect of a wyrm-like creature for potential breeding would make a good reason...

Bumping for new lore gained from Adamant and Rune dragons (Forcae's Journal) and the Dragonkin Murals.

From the player 'Ascertes' on the Dragonkin primer and it's texts: perhaps the Dragonkin word 'Kalist' means 'Catalyst' or 'Stone of Jas'.

Alright, so I've just finished doing Hero's Welcome and collecting all the Rune/Adamant dragon lore. And there's TONNES of it. Jagex just dumped more dragonkin on us in 15 days than they have in 15 years. So, I'm going to get back to this, try to update it and figure out how to do the formatting, but I just wanted to post what I thought were some of the most significant reveals and confirmations of existing theories.

-Dactyl and Necrosy*tes are NOT merely different ways of dealing with the curse, but organized factions

-We finally have a name for dragonite ~ orikalkum!

-Dragon research continued long after the century that Kerapac worked before abandoning it.

-Kerapac still has many active followers.

-We now have the names of 5 Necrosy*tes and 6 Dactyl

-Who is the four-armed Kin idol?

-Architectural clues: Daemonheim most likely dates from the 2nd Age.

-Architectural clues: Kin technology is strongly based in pneumatic devices and fluid state converters. Proper manipulation of water and molten minerals seems a vital component to their science.

-Female dragonkin confirmed ~ Lasthes!

-Dragonkin have not been attacking gods because they lacked sufficient power.

-Confirmed theory: Ancient cavern was originally a Dactyl settlement, later occupied by Necrosy*tes.

-Confirmed theory: Some dragons were bred as war beasts, and Necrosy*tes use them as guard dogs.

-Bandos as False User? Vague point here.

Just read through this again! I want more Dragonkin lore to read! Its like a book I can't put down! I am really having fun discovering all these things and all the places the kin have been too!
You will learn that even the gods walk in darkness, and only Sliske knows the way.

I finally unlocked the Faraway Place Where Things Are Kept. VERY interesting environmental clues, a lot of stuff that seems very deliberately designed for foreshadowing. Honestly, this is my favourite way of digesting lore - not a book or a piece of dialogue, but scenery, environmental clues, details that demand more careful attention and critical thinking from the player.

Some notable possibly-Kin related features:
-A larger and smaller section of ribs, which we notice come from a creature considerably larger than dragons
-Teeth and mandibles that appear to have been forcibly removed or manipulated
-Inert sea creature eggs, the same size as dragon eggs
-A partially decomposed juvenile sea creature, with what might be vestigial wings on its back
-A resource dungeon, clearly of the Kin, rather than Bilrach.

Given the human tracks and Bandosian brews, however, it may be intended that most of these simply tie into the Guardians of the World storyline.

I know I haven't given this thread a tonne of love, but I plan to update after Kindred Spirits.

Well yes, Daemonheim was originally built from the ground up by the Dragonkin, then Bilrach dug it all up. Bilrach had to dig through it all to the bottom because he heard "Zamorak's voice" calling to him.
Zaros told us the Dragonkin were most likely a race from the previous cycle that somehow caught wind of the Great Revision, and hid out in the Abyss. They came to Jas for either mercy or retribution, and ended up bound to her Catalyst. Since then, there have been multiple attempts by multiple Dragonkin to create their own kind without the Curse, resulting in the creation of dragons, and Kerapac plus a few followers have been working to also break the Curse.
The Dragonkin can travel from world to world, and gain power the same as any who use the Stone of Jas, at the cost of feeling immense pain, equal in some twisted formula to the amount of power gained. This may or may not be intentional by Jas, as this pain is what allows them to locate the Stone and the False Users.
Up until recently, the Dragonkin have been inactive and unable to confront any of the False Users because of their considerable power, but after Lucien used the Stone, they apparently became stronger, and now have a tool (the Mirror) that allows them to somehow drain divine energy from a being.
Currently, the Dragonkin Necrosy*te scientist, Kerapac is still undergoing research to free the Dragonkin from the Curse. Meanwhile, the Dactyl have found a way to drain the divine energy from a being, and transfer it to another using the Elder Mirror. Strisath, though formerly of the Necrosy*tes, has been driven mad and converted over to the Dactyl, but has since then been calmed a bit when the World Guardian helped to weaken the Curse. The Mirror is in 'the Vault,' and the Dactyl are presumably waiting to strike again on another False User, or perhaps the current owner of the Stone, Sliske.
A
World Guardian
must learn to find
Balance
in themselves.
Only then can they
Control
themselves and forge their own
Fate .
