We learn in Making History that the first king of Ardougne became Guthixian after the incident of the outpost. So shouldn't Kandarin be Guthixian? The Saradomist church doesn't belong there.

Or is Kandarin both officially Guthixian and Saradomist somehow? Or perhaps they eventually decided to abandon the whole Guthixian thing?.. I need clarification on this asap.

Also, it would be nice to know if Seers Village is Saradomist or Guthixian.
I'm too Unaligned to have a forum signature.

The leader of a nation does not necessarily determine the religion of that nation. Also Ardougne is young compared to an institution like the mages guild. Most humans were Saradominists even if the leader of Kandarin wasn't. I doubt he minded Saradominists at all. It's likely Kandarin still had a fair few Armadyleans at that time too and was fairly tolerant of all religions. There are no current Guthixians that are prominent to my knowledge in Kandarin except possibly the seers but that is unconfirmed.

Seer's village does have a Saradominist church though I believe and Camelot is Saradominist.

Aha, the thread still lives. About the Elder Gods thing, you guys kept mentioning Armadyl, but neglected to mention what Saradomin says in The Death of Chivalry:

"Since the Elder Gods brought this world into being, it has been beset on all sides, by selfish forces hungering to tear it asunder."

(Not to mention his describing the crown as 'the Elder Crown'.)
The Asgarnian ale must flow.

I honestly don't know if I should consider Camelot Saradominist or Christian .

I seem to remember reading or hearing somewhere that Jas is the only elder god who wouldn't need something like a TokHaar-Hok in order to communicate with mortals. Can anyone remember the source for this? What's the most convincing ship in the game?

They are Saradominist, it implies it in Ooak.

From the mysterious statue

" Now only four remains of the outer ring, and we no longer face the Sleeper. Knights of an upstart younger god re-purposed us to face their holy grail.

Now it might not be Saradomin but it certainly can't be the Christian God as he would certainly not be considered a younger god. As well asuming the RS Britian is a human plane, i'm guessing they most likely serve Saradomin.

Or maybe the mysterious statue just heard the knights talking about Jesus/the LORD and assumed that 'that must be a younger god'. 'Knights of an upstart younger god' can be a general as well as a specific reference.

Just saying.

Britain isn't on Earth though in the Runiverse. Saradom spread them to whichever plane Britain is/is part of like he did with humanity as a whole except to Gielinor so it makes sense if it is Sarafomin. I am inferring that though.
