to Zamorak hilariously thinking he could take Zaros on in any sort of fair fight, I told you lot didn't I? Without the staff Zamorak would of been absolutely throttled, and oh how he was, now under Zaros's boot for one last order to be paid off in the grand finale Next month.

A 10 second rendition of BOL 2.0 is nothing to wet your trousers about. The so called showdown was nothing more than that. Very underwhelmed.

That was AMAZING.

Enjoy my paragraph. It's a tad all over the place, but I'm still hyped with joy.

I fucking loved this quest, from the Lava surfing to the betrayal sequence, to Zamorak hilariously thinking he could take Zaros on in any sort of fair fight, I told you lot didn't I? Without the staff Zamorak would of been absolutely throttled, and oh how he was, now under Zaros's boot for one last order to be paid off in the grand finale Next month.

We've learned so much and I think it's a breath of fresh air to know our dear faction friends don't have to face oblivion anymore for the sake of some petty tradition.

Few concerns though, The only thing I wanted answered wasn't. Why do Aktahankos and Enakhra hate each other :(

I'm also surprised at the lack of ability to voice our support for either Zaros or Zamorak honestly, I know we could influence the entirety of Kharshais involvement which in its own way was pretty nice, and Zaros was very pleasant with me the entire way through the quest, while Zamorak wasn't. My quest log reads I have Zaros's respect due to aiding his return and helping the Mahjarrat free themselves from oblivion. Which is always nice.

Lack of Post quest is always an issue, but this time especially. I feel like it ended with so much more left to say especially after everything that happened.

This has been well worth the wait I reckon.

FYI: Check the Godscore board too. Seren now has a kill, Zaros has a win score. and we got an additional point too.

Zaros soup anyone?

Good quest, had a lot of information and a good story...but several things disapointed me:

1) Why did Zamorak broadcast he had the stone?

2) He didn't have the stone with him. How did Saradomin get it?

3) Zamorak wasn't "worn out" from the fight at all, so Zemourgal's memory is rubbish.

4) Still begs the question how Zemourgal didn't know about the stone in the fifth age.

5) Wish we had gotten more a fight in the betrayal, like with Jack's comic. Zamorak and Zaros duking it out a bit, some fights between their followers, etc.

6) Same with the confrontation. I knew they wouldn't let their precious baby Zaros get hurt, but can we get some movement please? I'd like to see an actual fight instead of BoL abridged.

7) Couldn't read the 2nd Mahjarrat tomb because of the Muspah. x.x

8) Maybe we'll find out why Sliske didn't want to come in End Game, but Moia should have been there. She gains power from the portals, so surely the rituals as well?

9) Why weren't portals addressed? Even if it's just Bilrach saying "It's no use. We'd use them too frequently for them to recharge."

10) It was...way too easy for Seren to kill Mah.

11) Wish we had a general idea of how powerful everyone was now, the Gods included.

12) Not so much a complaint but...is anyone else noticing how much of a lemming Zamorak is? You'd think for someone without an afterlife he'd have more self preservation. First we have Forinthry where he could have teleported away with the stone, now we have him vs Zaros with him immediately deciding to sacrifice himself instead...I dunno...teleporting behind Zaros and continuing the fight? Or heck, just moving or trying to outmanuever Zaros? Moments later we have him agreeing to put his life on a contract without even asking what's required of him.

I know it's noble and all but...kinda unnecessary.

13) No reaction from the betrayal and what Zaros said? No anger from the Zamorakians or feelings of betrayal from the Zarosians?
Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

I saw that as his physical form being destroyed and only the clothes remaining

I have noticed your kind does tend to blindly stumble forward towards danger simply because it exists. What is your word for that?
- We call it being a hero.

I don't think we can say that for certain. The cutscene only showed the first few seconds after Zaros was defeated. It's fully possibly Zamorak collapsed in agony right after that, like Zem's memory claims.

Looking back, I also noticed Zamorak didn't get wings as part of his ascension...so what's up with that? Can't he just...regrow his wings through shapeshifting like he clearly did the first time? He added them during the Avernic uprising because of symbolism.

He could regrow them, but I imagine having them Zaros-Burned off his back might of hurt a little with that scream of his, so I'd personally see them as a liability to get myself injured in battle I wouldn't bother regrowing them.

Great so now we have two instances of Zaros ripping wings off. Smh such a monster and a trifle arrogant too! That face full of defying dictator frying was a lot quicker in this version of BOL.

I agree mostly with what Hazeel said.

Good quest in general.

Shame Zamorak lost his wings, and feels like this is just one big mocking that gets rubbed into Zamorakian's their faces.
