Oh it's been awhile, but didn't your "ban" go something along the lines of ...

"It's me or Rubic, Dethal."

"Not banning Rubic."

"Then you have chosen him! *insert rant on the evils of Rubic before fleeing*" Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

HazeelxZanik, HazeelxSiggy, and now HazeelxAncient? When are people going to realize I'm just a very loving person in general? Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. I was told I was not allowed to warn people that Rubic had previously stalked and harassed someone and said I would not stop doing that as he claimed he did nothing wrong and his actions were completely acceptable. So in essence yes it was me or Rubic, but that was only because you decided to make it against the rules to warn the people he was potentially targeting.

In any case that still doesn't answer my initial very simple question of "Is Rubic still around?" followed by my request of "If he is not, could you unban me?".

1) We already had a hearing to address it. Multiple sources--including the cited "victims"--spoke out against these claims. We settled it. It's done. We don't want to deal with the drama anymore.

With that said, if he acted out in the present, you would be well within your rights to suggest action, but at the rate this was being dragged out, we would have never heard the end of it.

2) I believe you've been told multiple times that he hasn't been seen...but he's not banned either.

3) I did not decide anything was against the rules. I don't decide that. Our rules are somewhere between vague and nonexistent, honestly, aside from a general "no drama" policy.

4) Are you even banned? I thought you just left.

5) We'll pass this on to Dethal next time we see him. Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. We were discussing this a couple of days ago in the FC, and I was just curious what everyone's take on this is:

Do you think the game would be better without tiers? Which is to say, there's only "Elder Gods", "Gods", and "Demi-Gods". A Gods power is more individualized depending on their talents and knowledge. Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

It helps Jagex devs keep "power lvls" consistent, but I don't think it should have been shared with the community. It's much more interesting to keep it vague and let people keep guessing how powerful a character is based on feats, known abilities etc. rather than flat out say X>Y>Z. -

I have noticed your kind does tend to blindly stumble forward towards danger simply because it exists. What is your word for that?

I have a better idea.

The Sixth Age never happened.

The player has been hallucinating the entire time on spirit weed.

The REAL Zanik is still alive, and that imposter never existed.

I understand that my opinion that fanfiction is a waste of time is not popular but it is my opinion. You don't have the right to force people to like things.

I am sorry I called it cancer though. It is fairly common for me to call things that are toxic cancer. Like faction based groups, stuff in politics, ect. I did not mean for that to come across as harsher than "I do not like fanfic".

Also I was kicked from the fc because Sky Jexel was "putting a stop to things" when I was no longer even part of the conversation. Later he said he did it because he thought I was a dick.

I have screenies showing that I wasn't part of the conversation when he kicked me, and him saying the real reason why he kicked me. I did hurt his friend's feelings on accident though, but I see that was mostly my fault for describing my dislike of fanfics so strongly.

I'm sorry I hurt her feelings. I don't think she should care what I think though. I also don't think I should be kicked because someone else doesn't like my opinions and cries about it either.

However this was mostly my fault, and I am trying, really hard, to not be a toxic person. If possible I would like to just agree to disagree and call it bygones.

It is possible to express personal disinterests without using words like "toxic" and "cancer" -- it is similarly possible to express opinions without unilaterally condemning everyone who doesn't share them. Keep working on it.

Also, try not to immediately backpedal after apologizing by stating, without irony, that you were kicked because someone else happened to not like your opinions. If you were kicked, it was almost certainly because you were being an asshole about it. Again... work on it. Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.
