This was a very good read and I learned new things! This thread is surely needed as Saradomin is constantly under siege, if only people would see the good in him as well as the bad ones!
Very in depth things here, Saradomin has redeeming qualities if only people weren't so quick to hate they would see that!
You will learn that even the gods walk in darkness, and only Sliske knows the way.
Nothing like a stroll down memory lane watching Zamorakians lose their (insert naughty word here) because "Z0mg someone has the NERVE to say that Saradomin isn't EVIL INCARNATE!"
Oh, the memories...

I have read this twice now! I really like it and the things said here makes a lot of sense. I hope that others will read it and start being more objective towards Saradomin!

Is meaningless conquest of those who do not wish to be conquered truly "defence"?
I prompt the question, can people (and yes Saradomin is a
person
) ever really change? His past
conscious
actions are beyond forgiveable in my opinion, especially with the Naragi - and the arrogance which he claims brought this does not appear to have dissipated.
Ultimately he destroyed the city and refused the leave the Naragi in peace, hence worsening the situation. And he did so to be worshipped, to rule.

Can you forgive someone for something they regret doing when they were young so long ago it doesn't even matter? I suppose you also hate Seren for cursing the elves, something she did selfishly and has also shown no signs of regretting nor any attempts to make it better, just liek Saradomin.
I seriously don't see why Jagex keep painting Saradomin as a baby-mongering, war-eating demon, when he was fine as he was. There's a difference between making someone grey and making someone blacker than black.
