Zaros is basing his view on Saradomin by the things Azzanadra tells him and his own experience in the 2nd Age.
That makes it even more likely to be made up because Azzanadra was going insane at this point. When Zaros was unable to communicate Azzanadra lost his mind.

Solan and Leth I fear you are wasting your time. Like their deity Neo and others only see the other factions in extremes, yet they allow themselves to exist in the grey thereby contradicting themselves. It is as Zaros said, so quick to point the finger at others they are blind to the monster that stares back at them upon the water.
Everything Zaros says about Saradomin actually contradicts Zaros himself. Because he tells the player that after Zamorak killed him he basically lost his mind and had to return to freneskae to absorb the muspah to restore his consciousness. This is the reason he gives as to why he was unable to contact his followers. Everything he uses as an example to explain saradomin was during this period that he lost his mind. So he either lied to his entire empire and all his followers and he was active in gielinor, or he lied to you about saradomin.
Which leaves the only time zaros would have any remote understanding of saradomin is when Zaros was expanding and invading saradominist territory.
So it basically leaves either Zaros lied in at least on occasion. Or he was under the influence of muspah juice and is crazy.
Pretty much. Plus Zaros contradicts himself on Saradomin seeing all in black and white. Saradomin is grey morally and acknowledges that he is grey morally, which means that he does not see things in complete black and white and that he knows some things exist grey. Don't trust Zaros.
We will move across their borders and pick our teeth with their bones. We will flush them from their homes and crush them beneath our paws. We will finally be free of the filthy Brown Tigers once and for all! White Tiger Kingdom! White Tiger World!

Uhm, once again no? Azzanadra seemed mental stable when he re-established the contact with Zaros. Azzanadra doesn't live in his deluded world anymore.

You have spoken to Azzanadra recently correct? He is still pretty unstable.

Rumours are spreading throughout the empire that the Empty Lord was destroyed in the battle. I cannot believe that. There is no power in this world capable of destroying him. He must be out there, but the portal has failed to establish communication.
...
I have no choice. I must tell the others that the portal is functioning and that I know Zaros's will. It is the only way to restore hope to our forces. For centuries I have divined his directives and governed the empire to his satisfaction. This will be no different. I can act as his regent in this short absence.
...
My plan is working. The legions fight against the invading heathens with renewed faith knowing that their Lord still guides them. And today...I even felt his presence. His approval. I act with holy sanction.
...
I hear him! I hear his voice in my head. Yes, Lord. I will do as you command. Saradomin will be crushed for his insolence. Zamorak will be punished for his betrayal. Armadyl will suffer for his arrogance. I will mete your vengeance upon all of them!
...
Yes, Lord. Make me your vessel. The empire will rise again!
- Mahjarrat Memories Azzanadra.
He was going crazy.. And Again another lie because he is saying he hears Zaros but that would be impossible because Zaros even says he couldn't contact his followers before he was restored from absorbing the muspah.

@ Rexxes
Sorry but you are wrong on this account. You must remember that Zaros traveled the cosmos and learned of Saradomin, and the other young gods upon his travels. Zaros has watched and learned for eons, I have no reason to discount his opinion on Saradomin, especially how it so perfectly coincides with what I see continually here.
@ Hall
I would trust Zaros over Saradomin any day, especially given the fact that Saradomin lied to my face in DOC. His version of what happened on Naragun does not match up with what we know, ergo Skargaroth being present etc.
I can admit to the faults of my deity, my own faults, and the faults of my faction. However I continually see holier than thou attitudes from your faction, dismissing of evidence and suppression of dissent {Garlandia}. Lets end this good and evil farce.

Azzanadra's memory is subjective and open to interpretation though.
Was he talking to Zaros or was he simply mad, we can not say for sure.
I would imagine he was just going crazy and he fed Zaros false information. I mean even to people that play the faction game. Would you rather have your god be this deceitful being who was communicating only with his most trusted follower to rebuild the empire and exterminate all the non-believers and murder the other gods. Or have his right hand man who was going insane and to some extent justified in make a bunch of fake accounts who told Zaros what he remember and Zaros just trusted Azzanadra not knowing it was false info.
In one situation both of them are liars and basically want to kill anyone who doesn't want to follow their new empire..
Or the other situation its a huge misunderstanding and Azzanadra just went crazy and Zaros was basing his opinion off what Azzanadra told him.
