Oh, and can't believe I forgot this option:

Unnamed Wight #453632: Happened to bump into the Staff of Armadyl as they shambled about the empty arena, and will be ascending to godhood as soon as they can find a god to siphon. Unless their flesh rots off first.

Interesting... someone new entirely has the staff....

Most people bet on Zaros/Nomad. Personally i think Seren is an option here too. She wants to stop Zaros from reaching Elder Godhood. Maybe she took it as a way to safe-keep it, and if he does Ascend, siphon it from him.
When sharing with others, we can learn to see the world differently. Look at all my elves accomplished. It was undone for a time because of chaos. It was harmony that restored them. -Seren

While I can understand if Nomad somehow acquired it, there would be 1 problem:
He's part "world guardian".

Remember, Sliske infused him with a portion of the player character's soul, and thus with it, and bit of the World Guardian's ability (aka anti-god magic).

So even IF Nomad had not only the Siphon/Staff of Armadyl and a random fragment of the Stone of Jas, their usefulness to him would be limited.

Yes, he'd have the Siphon which in his hands could do lots of things, but it would also have some major limitations.

In Dishonor among thieves, the player char used the power of the Stone and channeled it to make some rather impressive attacks, but you couldn't really do much more than that.

The Stone of Jas was basically a massive fountain of energy to just take into yourself. The Siphon is a way to split the elements without anything really being drawn into you except the staff boosting your magical capabilities, I bet it would work just fine for us.

What if jas took it back? That is a possibility too
not too likely. She seems pretty uncaring about all of that

True although she doesn't seem to be too concerned about us meddling with her plan or slaying her avatar either. Plus she'd want to ensure the siphon stays out of our "mortal" hands or even potentially having her or her sister's power drained by someone like Zaros who could now have a vendetta against her and the elders.
The statement below is false.

I don't think anyone on this thread has expressed this opinion fact yet, so...

Nomad is done. His story's over, he needs to die and stay buried just like Guthix. Do something new, Jamflex.
Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.

I'd say she still seems really unconcerned (and uninterested) by Zaros' efforts Raleirosen said :

I mean, he can't use them to attain godhood, but who's to say that he cant use them to augment his power even more?
