My own theory about the endgame is pretty simple.

As soon as Sliske brings out the stone, all bets are off and it's all v all to try and take it. Interestingly this ties in with Loki/Sliske accidently causing Ragnarok, as I imagine he'd try to do something to rein it in some he can do his plan but find himself in a massive all-out war.

This is my personal speculation:

Sliske might either give the stone of Jas to the winner of the contest, or use the stone of jas to kill the winner. When he gives the stone of Jas, you must notice that during that time a sun eclipse is taking place, meaning that whole Gielinor will be shadowed by the moon. Sliskes main power is the power of the shadow realm, and betrayal. I think at least one god will meet the void.
I find your theory sound and very logical, where Sliske's mindset is concerned; however, couple things here.

Firstly, Kindred Spirits. Until we learn otherwise, I'm going to assume we smashed that Shadow Focus to bits, and that it probably had something to do with his mastery of shadows. If anything, this will be the main consequence of our actions during Kindred Spirits brought to bear. I get the feeling this will be how we screwed up Sliske's plans the most in the end, and he may not even realize it.

Secondly, Sliske is indeed a master of the Shadow Realm, second only to one.. and that one happens to be on our side - Zaros. If Sliske tried something in the Shadow Realm that Zaros didn't like, I don't doubt that Zaros would be more than capable of putting a stop to it.

Only then can they

I'm really curious as to who Sliske's master will be, The not of form Elder God is the only candidate I can think of.

Agreed, since I'm sticking with my theory that the winner of the contest is meant to become the vessel for Sliske's master.

Since we're talking about Loki, even though this is about the actual Norse mythology, I'm still thinking of the Marvel version, but the Marvel villain that Mod Osborne based Sliske on is Arcade.

I do think Sliske will be trapped, but not killed. It sounds like they have some plans for Sliske after the Endgame, which would be a bit difficult if he died. I know we've had a lot of quests lately dealing with the undead, but Sliske's a Mahjarrat, who can't be resurrected, nor do they go to the afterlife.

Given Sliske's interest and research into the soul, perhaps part of Sliske's plan is to fix the issue of death and afterlife for himself?

My theory is that sliskes master is an incoporeal being. It needs a body. Whether it be the sixth elder or xau is up to debate. I bring up xau because hes communicated to us through other beings before. Specifically the sliske quests. Anyways, its no dragonkin since the master states the stone needs a user false or not. Not what a dragonkin would say. A god would wish to use it, especially an elder. My thought is that god is unable to due to lack of body. Sliskes plan will back fire on him and he will be the vessel for the being. Keeping him around "in some capacity" as the mods continue to be cryptic about. Also the drawings in kindred spirits are of alchemy circles with a mahjarrat in the center. Maybe sliske knows his master wants his body and he has to find another or sliske is planning for his body to be used and will use the world guardians soul to prevent his master from taking over his body and mind. What i hope, is if i am correct, the new being plays on sliskes dual mask concept and has a split personality where the master is mainly dominant but sliske slips through every now and then. I have seen the dark universe yawning, where the black planets roll without aim;
Where they roll in their horror unheeded, without knowledge or lustre or name.

It's already been confirmed his master is not Xau-Tak.

Yes, Mod Wilson did state this however....
I bring to you the Invention of Lying 2: Endgame edition. I mean seriously if a big reveal is coming and the elders are the final pillar of the sixth age quest line then theyre a long ways off and you wouldnt want to spoil that reveal so early even though the clues are obvious.
