The clock is ticking. Soon the Elder Gods will awake, and consume Gielinor's Anima Mundi, rendering it from a perfect paradise to akin to Freneskae, and then, they will consume all other worlds, all life, until there is nothing left but empty space and Gielinor's shriveled husk. But there is still time. If Gielinor is destroyed, the Elder Gods MIGHT die with it, thus saving the multiverse. To save all other worlds, all life, and everything that has been or ever will be, Gielinor must die.

Finally someone sees the obvious solution. Gielinor is one world and it's brought nothing but misery to the rest of the universe. It's not worth letting everything else die over.

Even if you want to back Zaros, even if he becomes an Elder, he's outnumbered four against one and he doesn't know how to fight. Heck, the fight between them would destroy Gielinor anyway. May as well destroy it now and make SURE we're safe.
