Saradomin: Extremist Christianity
Zaros: True-er Christianity (Focused on balance in one's self, always preparing for the end, and Zaros having "alien philosophies" being akin to Jesus having a dynamically different way of thinking for his time, and they're both very influential...)
Zamorak is atheism/secularism, because he's always misunderstood as either anarchic freedom or vile revolution.
Armadyl is a pure form of community-ism, where there is no inherent leader, but the collective lives in peace after a great war.
Bandos is capitalism, as all of his success is compared to physical gaining (victories, kill count, army size, land owned, etc). He is only a tactician and never really fought, resembling how a person can go into business and never do any "real work" and still get paid.
More like:
The Saradominist faith: Generic Abrahamic.
The Zarosian faith: Agnostic humanism.
The Zamorakian faith: Satanism (bonus: how the popular misconception compares to the actual religion).
The Serenist faith: Buddhism/Taoism.
The Bandosian faith: Worship of Ares of the ancient Greek pantheon.
The Armadylean faith: Shinto.

But the reason why Bandos and armadyl are political philosophies is because, akin to modern life, you can adopt both bandosian/armadylean philosophies with other faiths (i.e. You can be a Zamorakian/Saradominist and still believe in socialism(Armadylean) or capitalism(raging Bandosianism)), not to mention that the Gowers had a very overt religious moral in the original storyline, hence the aversion from other religions.
Also, Zamorakian Demons resemble true demons, who turned away from their god (Zaros) and are rallied by Zamorak, who betrayed his master for his own selfish gain...
So this means Zarosian Demons are technically supposed to resemble angels who remained loyal to their god, while Icyene are merely stereotypes produced by the conservative mind-set of Saradominism
And Zemouregalism resembles the Brogre Master Race, obviously...
As with Seren, she could be all Eastern religions put together, hence the distanced characteristics of herself

How did we get to the conclusion that Bandos=capitalism and Armadyl=socialism? The last time I checked, all of the gods who have had a world event so far use a form of point currency to reward their followers for their efforts, therefore making them all capitalists. I'm fairly sure the entirety of the RS community is capitalist in game whether they want to admit it or not, or else they would shirk using the Grand Exchange.
I don't think that you can accurately compare gielenorean religions with real life ones.
In real life, gods aren't superhuman beings stomping around the Earth grabbing at land and power - humans accomplish that well enough on their own.
As for capitalism/socialism...no. Just no. Free market capitalism has nothing to do with bandos's philosophy. The closest in-game thing to capitalism is the dwarf from 'Perils from Ice Mountain' or the Consortium of Keldagrim.
The g.e. is basically a centralized bartering system, maybe an example of mercantilism at most. Making money =/= capitalism.

But while other gods use currency, they also have more direct and overt philosophies (Saradomin, for example, preaches peace through his rule, while Zamorak promotes chaotic upheaval and self-improvement with no interest in his own benefit.)
Bandos and Armadyl's philosophies, however, can be incorporated to other philosophies, similar to how most philosophies can be accepted by religions should they intertwine accordingly.
Bandos is a representation of capitalism because of his overall complexion. He treats his followers (workers) as expendable minions who are his own property. He also associates all form of success by physical, material gaining, which is almost as capitalistic as "swag". Almost.
Armadyl, on the other end, is a collectivist. He acknowledges the importance of being able to create peace by casting aside differences and creating equality for even those who messed up in the past. He only acts out second, but isn't afraid of delivering the last blow.
Meanwhile, the GE can be considered gameplay, or a creation of mortal design, with no initial resemblance to anything (except maybe Wall Street).

Ok, I'm putting the breaks on this train: This is NOT a thread about Van Diagramming Runescape and real world religions, so, please, keep that can of worms elsewhere, as interesting as I will admit it is, it really should have a thread of its own.
