Sadly, this cannot happen. Why? Because gameplay. We cannot have the option to destroy Gielinor, because if we do, then we would be restricted from a lot of gameplay. No more minigames for you. No more Distractions and Diversions for you. No more skilling, or PvM, or bossing for you. You would be restricted from a lot of interaction with other players. Also, if Gielinor is destroyed, so is the World Gate and Zanaris (without Gielinor's gravity, the moon would be lunged either into outer space or into Gielinor's sun). This means we have nowhere to go either. So no. Destroying Gielinor is not an option, because it would restrict players from most of the game world, and Jagex would never develop a quest where we lose access to content.

Or..

We back Zaros.

The only god whose doing something useful with his time instead of live action roleplaying the hunger games like the lesser gods.
the only reason why zaros is doing something about the elders is because he is the only god that knows about the threat of the elders

Well..Yes.. Obviously.

Go tell Zamorak in your quest if you like. If you can.

Somewhere they said they wanted us to have the option to tell our emissaries about FoT* but it didn't make it.
thats a shame :/

It's not about making Gielinor not exist. That would be impossible. It's about removing the anima so the Elders can't feed themselves and become strong.

Without Anima, at the very least, Vorago and Spirit trees would perish: other magical events tied to Anima Mundi would also cease to exist at this world, and since we do not know the exact nature of Anima Mundi to begin with and the consequences of its dissappearance, it would not be desirable to not even attempt to do so. Also, since the removal of Anima would require the removal of all life, we still would not be able to do so, as that would mean the entire Gielinor would suffer similar fate as Yu'Biusk.

I don't know how you figure. Vorago came because the anima was diminished. And I imagine Gielinor would look more like the Wilderness once we removed the anima. I see no issue with this. Just more gray colors and PvP. *shrug*

Actually no, Vorago has been here for much longer than that. If I remember right, he first appeared during the First Age, but was defeated by an unknown hero with the Maul of Omens and send him to rest under the modern-day northern Asgarnia. He was only awoken during the Sixth Age due to Guthix's death. He was not created by it.

Finally someone sees the obvious solution. Gielinor is one world and it's brought nothing but misery to the rest of the universe. It's not worth letting everything else die over.

Even if you want to back Zaros, even if he becomes an Elder, he's outnumbered four against one and he doesn't know how to fight. Heck, the fight between them would destroy Gielinor anyway. May as well destroy it now and make SURE we're safe.
Guys

I just realized

Gielinor is Israel/Palestine/Canaan/The Holy Land/Whatever

It's a wonderful place but there has been so much war over it.
I will protect Gielinor. Zaros has no love for its people.

I realized too...

Saradomin: Extremist Christianity

Zaros: True-er Christianity (Focused on balance in one's self, always preparing for the end, and Zaros having "alien philosophies" being akin to Jesus having a dynamically different way of thinking for his time, and they're both very influential...)

Zamorak is atheism/secularism, because he's always misunderstood as either anarchic freedom or vile revolution.

Armadyl is a pure form of community-ism, where there is no inherent leader, but the collective lives in peace after a great war.

Bandos is capitalism, as all of his success is compared to physical gaining (victories, kill count, army size, land owned, etc). He is only a tactician and never really fought, resembling how a person can go into business and never do any "real work" and still get paid.
