Am I the only one that thinks that Zaros's plan will only make things worse? The creators are happily sleeping (or whatever they do) and not bugging anyone, so isn't waking them the last thing we want to do? I'll give zeros credit for trying, but not even he can go against four elder gods at once… awesome as he is. I say wait it out, they're probably not going to wake up for millions of years anyway.

They're asleep waiting to wake up to destroy the universe. It's what they do.

No. We want to wake them up and reason with them NOT to destroy the universe I happen to like living in.

He plans to ascend BEFORE confronting them. Are people forgetting that or am I the only one who paid attention during Fot*?

Oh yes. Let's let the dormant universe destroying near omnipotent beings sleep for millions of years, we'll be dead, not our problem.

No. They'll be waking up 2016 latest. Else the elder god storyline would be pointless.

Except they'd hate Zaros, even Zaros admits his creation would be an offense to them. Becoming an Elder God? Even worse. They don't care for mortals, just their own survival. And heck, as an Elder God, Zaros himself would need to join them in destroying the universe if he wanted to survive.

At least by not waking them up, we could have thousands or millions of years to work together and take them down.

We could discover how their "sleep timer" works and manipulate it so they never wake. We could destroy Gielinor and leave them to die. We could try to move them to Freneskae, destroy Freneskae's anima some more, and leave them to die. We could research on what happened to the previous Elder Gods and see if that info will help us deal with the current ones.

They'd hate him, but they wouldn't hate us. We might be Naive in the old quests but we're surprisingly good at making what we want to happen, happen.

I think it'll be Zaros in elder god form explaining how they don't need to destroy Gielinor, or any world because the mortal life is more than enough to sustain them, Of course he'll need someone to vouch for him and add their own words.

That's our shining moment. He'll be the reasoning, we'll be the persuasion.

But I don't want to kill the elders. Technically they have every right to be outraged at us, but their "Accidents" will be their "Salvation"

I do wonder how the younger gods are going to deal with the situation though. I really hope they don't copy and paste what Zaros is doing. That'll be the biggest cop out since the demon slayer rework.

But the Elders DO hate us. They see us as a threat and last time we tried to reason with them...well....dragonkin. Yes, we provide a lot of anima, but in order to make use of it, they'd have to kill us anyway...same way they did to the last mortals.

They don't see us as threats, they see us as mites.
They see us as some insignificant amoebae towards which it would cost them more to give attention than it would to let roam free.

The dragonkin incident happened because Jas just so happened to have use for some flesh puppets when they showed up.

Here's a better idea: Fix Mah. The Elders aren't stupid, and if we can actually prove that we actually have great potential instead of being freeloading termites tearing up their creation, then they'll probably have enough sense to accommodate us instead of exterminating us.

Or we could take the aggressive path that leads to a fight we can't hope to win.

Or we could sabotage the only good planet in the universe to lead to a scenario where nobody wins.
