Zamorak: Did you learn nothing from your time here? Clearly you would create chaos as a force of evil.

Has anyone considered the idea that maybe the reason the Elder gods are destroying the worlds they create is to sustain themselves long enough to create the perfect world? And that just maybe they don't actually want to destroy Gielinor? The more we know about the Elder gods the more we learn that we don't know anything about them, also I don't trust Zaros, he's a control freak (fitting since he is considered the god of control).
I believe another problem with Zaros is that it seems his weakness is the same as his strengths. Zaros's strength is causing anger, fear, confusion, and hopelessness in his enemies - the reason he is so good at doing that is because Zaros himself suffers from the same (just a theory but it seems greatly supported by in-game lore concerning Zaros and his past).

Or..

We back Zaros.

The only god whose doing something useful with his time instead of live action roleplaying the hunger games like the lesser gods.
the only reason why zaros is doing something about the elders is because he is the only god that knows about the threat of the elders

Seren also has an understanding of the threat which the Elder Gods pose, but unfortunately she remains shattered...

Does she? She knows of the Elders, but I don't think she's aware of the Great Revision. And if she doesn't know about that, then she has no reason to think that they're a threat at all.

Even for Zaros/Seren is possibility of Great Revision something like saving for illness/retirement. Yes, they should care about it and be prepared when it comes, but it's not a priority, nothing like what they should care about right now or tomorrow - for them, in next few thousand years at least.

And for humans? Meh, why should we care at all? Even our children's children are perfectly safe.
