With all the fancy graphics and what not, quests seem to take a lot longer to make than they used to. But unfortunately, this means that storylines are resolved far too quickly, probably to avoid stretching them out for several years. Dwarves, Pirates, Gnomes, Elves, and possibly even Myreque series are all ending now.

Understandably, there are new series that Jagex wants to set in motion, and those are all relatively old ones, but I sincerely hope they don't go "the easy way out", and end things when it's a bit too early to do so, or when there's more room for potential quests.

Personally, I wouldn't mind a quest using no or barely any new graphics (or new locations made from recycles graphics) or cinematic cutscenes, if that would mean a richer storyline and greater length.

Yes please jagex. The Myreque series have always intriged me, and a lot of plots that are interesting have not been finished. Specifically i'd like know a lot more about the icyene and everything surrounding castle drakan and drakan himself.

Debatable actually given the separate teams. Voice acting certainly adds time ofc but only a week and it is unlikely Myreque will receive voice acting.

Mod Ana wants to do two more quests. That'd be satisfactory. 3 is still better though. :3

Also, how is daeyalt not "that" important? There is a city-sized refinery for it under Darkmeyer. :O And what happened to the edicts spin-off you wanted to do?

I heard they are making two more.
One would be the Myreque "finale", where Drakan goes splat.
The second would be more of a spin off, and focus on Daeyalt and the massive mine.

Everything else you mentioned though, I agree. More Myreque the merrier. (Try and same that five times fast)
I’m not great at this game, but I do love quests.

Actually, Mod Ana said there won't be a focus on daeyalt. It'll play a role, but it's not "that" important, apparently. She promised to pop by next week!

I seriously hope Drakan doesn't go "splat" in the next quest in the series.

Anyways, I've been thinking about it, and decided on what specifically I'd like to see in the next quest:

1. Learning a lot of history; particularly about Safalaan/Vanescula and Ascertes/Efaritay.
2. Calsidiu's appearance, along with other members of the Myreque.
3. Reveal of a good chunk, but again not all, of some mysteries, such as how to bypass River Salve, the rock Drakan is obsessed with, and Haemalchemy.
4. Reveal of Lowerniel himself, and parts of the Castle Drakan and/or Vampyrium.
5. Liberation/invasion plans on Sanguinesti; possibly some political complications and a revolution in Darkmeyer.

I think it would really fit the series for the next quest to resolve pretty much everything, and have the finale cover one or two more things, but in an extended grandeur fashion. Like an massive war, one (or several!) battles with Lowerniel, and trying to put an end to whatever he is planning (say something grand, like achieving Godhood, or human genocide, I don't know :P ). So instead of one more quest in the storyline, I'd really like if what would of been the "last 20-30 minutes" of one more quest to be the finale itself, but lasting 10 times longer. You might not agree, but that for me would just be perfect.

Could work! But please not achieving godhood. We have too much godhood already. ;-;

Now that you mention it, I agree. A year or two ago, it would have been an exciting prospect. But as in you mentioned in your other thread, the Gods are just making too many appearances now; the less the better, really.
