Check this out!

So I totally think I'm on to something!

Consider these two
FACTS
:

- Robert the Strong, as seen in game, is wearing Fremennik Rock Shell Amour. Okay, so we can establish that he is a Frem.
[Can someone post a side-by-side of him and someone wearing the Rock Shell Set?]

- When Robert went to Kethsi he (re)discovered Dragonbane weaponry and was able to drive off the Dragonkin who were terrorizing Runescape. But here's the interesting part: Robert PREDICTED that the Dragonkin would return, he somehow FORESAW that he would be reincarnated as Bob the Cat, he left a letter for an adventurer who he PRESUMED would later find it. Coincidence? Robert the Strong was a Frem Seer.

I'm too tired to finish this tonight but I'll explain how this ties in to how the Frems got their Seer powers tomorrow.

Robert the Strong

Rock-shell Armor

@Gwyndolynn that's a really interesting concept and digging, except his "final" home is in Burthorpe, so hopefully they're willing to do the extra work of hiding some text somewhere in Seers to explain this somehow.

Thanks for posting those, btw. I really need to learn how to do that.

Anyways. I was thinking about it and Robert doesn't sound like a very Fremmy name. However he is said to have a lover named illsinor which sounds like a Nordic name. Perhaps she was the Seer.

Also, another important thing to note, is that Robert was born in Teragard not Gielinor. So if he is indeed a Seer then that means whatever gave them this power preceded the humans arrival in Gielinor. But if his lover, Illsinor is the Seer that would completely invalidate that idea.

+Elf Of Seren, yeah I hope they are willing to touch on that.

Nah, it's too much. Let's just leave it alone and let everyone fill the spaces however they like.

Ok. Since nobody really wants to check another thread, this is my complete idea:

The seers were originally Fremmeniks, living in the northern lands. Tension among the Fremmeniks rose when magic through runes was discovered. Some of the Fremmeniks disliked the idea of magic while others started practising magics and formed the moon clan. This eventually started a war.
A group of seers who foresaw the war decided to stay neutral by leaving their lands. Travelling south, they sougth refuge in the castle of Camelot, which at that time was owned by the Sinclair family. The Sinclair family happily helped the seers by expanding the town - which at that time only consisted of an armory (where the bank is currently at), a Church and some stalls. Hence the difference in architecture (considering the concept art). The pub and the longhall are still remnants of their fremmenik way of life.
Later, the armory was replaced in the castle as the old armory was sold to the Bank of Varrock.

This idea also implies that the Seers got more openminded towards religion due to the presence of the church, rather than them building the church due to their openmindedness.

This is interesting. We could have it be a sort of fusion between the seers' fremennik heritage and more modern ardougne styled buildings due to the influence of the two cultures, especially as more people from Ardougne and Catherby moved there and it stopped being just the seers.
Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

Here are some little add-ons for my
Seer Seevin Strange
idea.

He could randomly say things out loud.

"I believe foreseeing and understanding must precede action."

"Noobs. Of course. There's going be a lot of noobs. Isn't there?"

"I warned them about that thing... I did tell them, I swear."

"You can show me, I'm a Seer."

All of the sayings are my take on actual Stephen Strange quotes.

Here is another add-on idea for my
Seer Seevin Strange
idea.

He could be wearing a
regular red cape
like the one you can buy in Thessalia's Fine Clothes in Varrock, but it would have
gold trim at the bottom
.

If players start saying the want a way to obtain the cape in game, you could
add it as a clue scroll reward
with the clue scroll rework.

The name of the cape could be
Seevin Strange's Cape
, or of course whatever you want to name it.

If you don't get why I want a red cape with gold trim, please look up pictures of Stephen Strange. Although I am sure you do, Thank you. :)

Here is another add-on for my
Seer Seevin Strange
idea.

He could be wearing a
Seers Amulet
. It could be an amulet that is the Seers Village Symbol. The blue is a carved sapphire, white is a carved diamond and black is a carved onyx, of course the gold is gold. It would have a gold chain.

This could be a
new crafting item
or you could add this as well as
another clue scroll reward
in the
upcoming clue scroll rework
. If people would want a way to obtain it. Whatever bonuses it gives is up to you all of course. This would be a great way to bring a better magic amulet into the game.

If you don't get why I want a him wearing an amulet named
Seers Amulet
, designed with the seers symbol, please look up pictures of Stephen Strange. Although I am sure you do, Thank you. I hope you like my Seer Seevin Strange idea and the ideas that go with it.
