Crassians have pretty much no lore behind them, and are on the other side of the sea from where Xau-Tak is active. Not related.

TBH the Crassians on Tutorial Island didn't even make sense, they're supposed to be further west, with Mogres hanging around the Muskipper point area. But whatever.
Someone mentioned, I remember of how Bandos bred the mogre race to fight an unknown enemy underwater that he had to deal with. He was fighting an underwater enemy.

P.S it would be interesting to get the mogres to fight for us against Xau-Tak if that was the unknown ancient enemy of Bandos or them.

Xau-Tak will likely fit the "lawful-evil" trope and be a nexeomancer kind of deity or be based off of lovecraft's works(eg. C*hulhu, Dagon, Hydra).

Xau-Tak was never involved in Gielinor's God Wars.

Well, that's someone made that up.

Even so I still like the idea that Bandos had specialized underwater troops for a reason so I hope it does end up getting used.

"****:Xau-Tak will likely fit the "lawful-evil trope"

Lawful evil? It's a lovecraftian squid compared to none other than Bandos. There is nothing lawful about him or his obvious direct inspiration.

EDIT: ******' quote errors.

I wouldn't be too sure. I once called the queen of ashes "EVIL" but a mod (I think it was mod raven) told me that wasn't the case, plus she was also compared to Bandos by V.
There might be more at work here, V is a biased individual.

I did a little research and found out that Mogers were an underwater subset of ogres. meaning they're apart of the bandos army. The Rs wikia even said that its possible that bandos used these mogres to fight an underwater enemy*****;- not made up.

Also, Xau-Tak vs bandos could have been separate from the godwars we all know of. Jagex did say that they've been hinting at his existence for years now. Lets not rule out anything Jagex has yet to confirm or deny

Given the implication of the Crassians being a result of the dark hydromancer's curse (the tutor's cursed forms strikingly resembling Crassians, his comment that he'd gone on to perfect his curse elsewhere, and his ability to summon and control them), I highly doubt that they were around during the last God Wars for Bandos to have bred the Mogres to fight.

Well i wasn't implying the morges faught Crassians i don't know much about them myself. But Xau-Tak could have had a number of species for the mogres to fight against. My only point is that its possible that bandos could have bred mogres to fight some Xau-tak related forces. Its yet to be confirmed or denied by lore or jagex.

That's just speculation on whoevere wrote that bit's part. All we know about mogres is that they are, well, marine ogres. They breed crabs and don silly hats. That's it.
