While fighting the skeletal horror I've noticed things in the background that might possibly look like tentacles. The brown ones.

You mean Crondis noticed them right? Like what was mentioned in the OP.
I nearly thought it mentioned the jungle horrors' cave, misread it seems. Anyway looking forward to Xau-Tak and Q.O.A content.

Its actually crazy that I found this thread. I just saw skippy, from the mogre side quest in Rimmington. I did a little research and found out that Mogers were an underwater subset of ogres. meaning they're apart of the bandos army. The Rs wikia even said that its possible that bandos used these mogres to fight an underwater enemy. This got me thinking that bandos and Xau-Tak could have actually had a war against each other. There's not many other entities underwater that bandos could fight, and none that I've heard of that would gather the attention/anger of a god. Other than another god, Xau-Tak. Come to think of it, correct me if I'm wrong but no other runescape god even has underwater forces other than Xau-Tak and Bandos.

I somewhat get the feeling he will be introduced and killed in the same quest.
"Monsters are dangerous and, just now, [gods] are dying like flies."
They need to stop killing off gods so fast. Maybe ask the jmods or something to confirm if they will continue to kill every single god that is introduced so fast or not? Xau-Tak needs to be a challenging villain who doesn't just die in one quest.

More Crassians. It seems not all lose their minds upon transformation though, and the transformation process can in fact be reversed.

I wonder if Argoroth was a human before he was turned. Or if Xau-Tak has anything to do with the magic behind their transformations.
I will protect Gielinor. Zaros has no love for its people.

Crassians have pretty much no lore behind them, and are on the other side of the sea from where Xau-Tak is active. Not related.

TBH the Crassians on Tutorial Island didn't even make sense, they're supposed to be further west, with Mogres hanging around the Muskipper point area. But whatever.
You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?
