Perhaps, but perhaps we should also prepare for the worst case scenario as well.
Personally I don't think he abandoned him it would just be a bland story if that was the case. Personally I think the teragardians shunned him. Something interesting about saradomin's early followers is that they were all somewhat humanoid. Icyene and Centaur have human traits we know the teragardians are to the point of being supremacist If saradomin started accepting these half humans into his ranks the isolationist/supremacist teragardians would probably see him as a false god. I mean everything he did went against the way teragardians live, he wasn't isolationist he was looking to expand/explore, he wasn't looking to make humans the superior race he was willing to accept anyone that would worship him, and he was trying to govern the humans which the magistrates probably wouldn't have been happy with.

I'd say killing a mother wolf and her puppies unprovoked just to train a snot nosed brat is semi-evil.
Although that's probably Xenia's fault more or less.
I really hate her, hope to kill her in a future quest.
They were wild animals, last i checked killing them wasn't illegal. plus it wasn't me that killed them. Well i did kill the aggressive version of it after the quest, but it was like i said aggressive and wanted to kill me, and I don't think the fight was canon.
Still though.
You killed puppies man.
There's just no excuse for that.
I really, really want a future quest where you get to slowly and painfully kill Xenia for all the BS she's pulled.
#justice4puppies
I will protect Gielinor. Zaros has no love for its people.
