The forum poll probably doesn't have a lot of free to play players, but I don't see why the emissary statistics would exclude that portion of the game considering they can still be found there.
Also it's not like only Saradominists could have joined Saradomin during the Battle of Lumbridge.

Having said that I share some doubts of the title as well. If anyone knows a learned/academic/reputable language pro that could speak on this issue it would be nice.
The title's perfectly fine, don't listen to anyone who says otherwise.

So, if this is meant to be a more general forum thread for members of the Saradominist community, you wouldn't mind if I used it to ask for advice regarding quest suggestions (so long as they pertained to Saradomin or his church), would you?
It would also allow a means for my friend Kittyphantom to view it as I would find it very hard for him to see it otherwise.
Everything related Saradomin (particularly) and other gods can be discussed on this thread.
Saradominist Clans, Role-play Groups, threads by our distinguished members, can all be sponsored and discussed here.
You can also use this thread to communicate and chat with other saradominists.
My goal would be for this thread to be a reference and meeting ground for the Saradominist community on the Lore Forums.
Is there a Saradominist clan?
Me and a few others have a reasonably small Saradomin clan called "the hallowed order".

So something that's been troubling me is Chaos Lupus's poll concerning god allegiances. According to it,
Zamorak
of all gods is more popular than our venerable ruler with the Runefest emissary statistics to back it up.
Now, I can see why people would be bewitched by a malevolent tyrant like Zaros who promises power and control, but why is Zamorak so popular? Is it because we have a lot of Friedrich Nietzsche who play this game?
I highly doubt Zarosians are contrived solely of those who desire power and control from Zaros. If it were, there wouldn't be so many Zarosians on the forums who can debate elegantly like Paladin, Balustan and others (Sorry Zarosians, remembering people isn't one of my strong suits).
Also, Zamorak is popular for numerous reasons.
1) There are those who see that chaos is the best and most rewarding way to improve
2) They like that with him, the world would be mostly to their own.
3) They like how even against incredible odds, he'll still fight.
4) Nietzsche cloned himself many times but never let anyone else in on the secret of cloning.

Thanks!
Granted, I've always considered you one of the nicest zarosians (atleast until now).
The sixth age is totally subjective, it's your choice and opinion which god you will support. I like Zaros and Guthix, the latter died at The World Wakes sad enough.

You and I must have vastly different definitions of elegant as I see the former as largely unintelligent and the latter as highly temperamental (several-fold more than they claim Saradomin is).

We always tell people in the FC that if you're following Zaros for power, you're following the wrong god and the god who's least likely to give you power.
Guthix was the protector of the world, know what he did in his final moments? Gave up.
As seen during The third age and now the sixth, the world needs an all seeing protector which is what Zaros is offering, not a god ruling from a throne, the likes of Zamorak or Saradomin. An all seeing protector that won't make rash and reckless decisions based on mortal emotions or biases. He knows full well the world guardian's power and knows full well that the world guardian could betray him at any time for the sake of power, so why empower that which could betray you.
People following Zimzams are after power, a god that obtained his power through backstabbing and underhanded techniques, a god who would burn down your house and kill your friends and family just because it makes you 'stronger', a god who leveled a continent as a "If I'm going down, I'm taking you all with me" approach. If there's a god who'll throw you under a bus the first chance he gets, it'll be Zimzams. Also, he's not still fight. He's the type of person who regularly slips himself 100s and 500s while playing monopoly and won't play my the rules, as seen with his soon to come stone heist where he's trying to cheat the system. Thief, traitor, cheater, and reckless maniac. I honestly don't see why anyone would follow Ol' ZimZams.

You are zarosian right?
Yep! And thank you, ahaha~. I'm not as active as others but I try to be as civil as possible.
