I like forced memes more than the average person, but even I've found pillar jokes to be stale and trite unless they're really clever. Effectively saying "lol pillar" does not constitute as a joke anymore.

Oh, I see. Absolutely not, "lol pillar" (or whatever equivalent) would not qualify as a joke no matter how you define it.

Anyway, there are very few people on the forums that I would consider universally respected (with regard to the Conclave).
Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.

Virtuous.

Having or showing high moral standards:

She considered herself very virtuous because she neither drank nor smoked.

The title implies we are the virtuous followers of Saradomin.

And also, your post comes of as rude and unimportant to the topics that can be presented on the thread. In fact, I'd like you to refrain in the future of suggesting grammar fixes. Thanks.

Having said that I share some doubts of the title as well. If anyone knows a learned/academic/reputable language pro that could speak on this issue it would be nice.

As Bastia said, the "people" or "followers" is largely implied. During Temple at Senntisten, Zaros asks Azzanadra "Have I found my faithful?", so I don't know what makes his statement any more grammatically correct that Bastia's title.

Actually "Virtuous" is correct if you're referring to the title.

Lol no- 'The Virtuous of Saradomin?' No. Just no.

Virtuous is an adjective, virtues is a noun. A Virtuous person has many virtues. Either say the Virtuous Saradomin, or the Virtues of Saradomin. Not the Virtuous of Saradomin.

Thats just poor grammar.

This thread is about the followers...

Not the God...

So something that's been troubling me is Chaos Lupus's poll concerning god allegiances. According to it, Zamorak of all gods is more popular than our venerable ruler with the Runefest emissary statistics to back it up.

Now, I can see why people would be bewitched by a malevolent tyrant like Zaros who promises power and control, but why is Zamorak so popular? Is it because we have a lot of Friedrich Nietzsche who play this game?
