Nice thread, though I am not of your faction/religion I can respect what Saradomin is trying to achieve, hopefully our factions can overcome our differences and work together in the future, I believe all of Gielinor will benefit!

The Q&A says that Saradomin doesn't care. He wanted Bandos gone too, and now Bandos is gone.

That's not really relevant to the conflict between Armadyl and Saradomin which Goutbones eluded to.

Q: What is the significance of Bandos' War Mace? Is it an elder artefact?

Mod Moltare: Bandos' weapon is not an Elder Artefact - its significance in the World Event finale was simply as a symbol of Bandos' might.

Q: Will Armadyl rename Bandos' mace the "Mace of Armadyl"?

Mod Moltare: Unlikely - its significance to Armadyl is mostly in who failed to keep it.

Leads me to believe Armadyl only took the mace as a symbol of victory, and not because it was powerful, so I don't see why Saradomin would be upset.

Goutbones probably has no idea what he's talking about.

Q: Why are gods being killed only shortly after they arrive? It cuts off future storylines and characterization.

Mod Moltare: This was something of a special case - Armadyl and Bandos have been sworn enemies for a long time. We're unlikely to see another grudge match of this sort in the near future.

So even if they do have a battle, there probably wont be a death, so that's good. I'd hate to have to choose a side between Saradomin and Armadyl though.

What makes you think Saradomin's upset about the mace? Mod Moltare already confirmed it wasn't an elder artifact. As Kittyphantom has said somewhere on this forum, Saradomin is likely not pleased at the prospect of Armadyl being more violent and warlike than he use to be.

“He got taste for god-killin now. He even took Bandos’s mace for fightin’ with too. Sary-domin won’t like that one bit, me bet. Not too long ‘til they’ave a fight too.”-Goutbones

I figured when he said this that he meant Saradomin would be upset that Armadyl has the mace, but yeah I see how you could interpret that differently, and it would make more sense.

How does a puny goblin know what Saradomin feels?

Exactly what I said, Goutbones probably has no idea what he's talking about.

Virtues*

"Your loyalties are your own to choose. I force no one to bow their knee before me."

that quote- makes no sense. I wish I could hear an explanation for what happened to Garlandia...
"We call it being a hero"
"That's interesting, we call it utter stupidity"

Actually "Virtuous" is correct if you're referring to the title.

That aside, Mod Moltare apparently said on Twitter recently that, while Garlandia's account is accurate, it's also biased meaning there's more than meets the eye to what happened. Something interesting I found in the Book of Saradomin given to you by the emissaries is that, apparently during the Gielinorian God Wars while Saradomin was away, New Domina was beset by rebels who regularly pillaged the livelihood of farmers. We're lead to believe that Saradomin appeared some time after and dealt justice to them in some kind. If you ask me, it seems possible that Garlandia was connected to these rebels in some way and that was the reason for the harsh punishment dolled out to her by Saradomin.
