Raxxess once again ignores everything I've been saying about the abandonment. How it doesn't even make him look that bad due to his age when he did it and how he has changed needing no lore adjustment. Though Raxxess is fine with him changing from the Naragi incident but not fine with him changing in this incident. Again a double standard. We know Saradomin cares about his followers today this stuff happened over 12000 years ago.

Also ignoring that I am actively writing positives about Saradomin in relation to hu,ans which Mod Osborne is going to be reading.

What was stated was you can choose which sources you count as canon as long as the source in question is not at that time contradicting the game. Which so a real shame to hear from him as it has given people such as yourself the opportunity to say this positive thing canon, this negative thing I don't want non-canon. I still disagree with him on this and should probably continue arguing the point with him.

Also you are still not giving examples proving you don't have a double standard. Your avoidance proves to me you in fact do.

Also who said that quote is non-canon? I would count it as canon.

Also let's be clear here Saradominists aggressively back themselves up by J Mod quotes. I personally choose to accept them as canon but I can by the same argument turn around and say Mod Stu is wrong nothing in the game backs him up.

Your again just generalizing. I don't have a double standard but if you see then by all means but I'm not going to go over every individual post I made to prove that to you, In fact if you don't like me so much and I apparently make all these double standards and I'm not "responsible enough to discuss lore because I don't watch live streams" why do you reply to my posts because literally all you do is respond to argue.

Your going to say Mod Stu doesn't know the quest he wrote?

I don't think Balustan cares if a quote makes Zaros look bad, he is one of the few people that believe and occasionaly brings up that instead of leaving the old and sick zarosians behind, the Zarosians leaders executed them to prevent them from being taken by Saradomin.

Its interesting and would fit

He seems to care if makes saradomin look bad lol.

This is how I see it my two cents. First I don't check twitter for quotes I think if there some special lore it should be said in game or on the games website I just don't like mods have more activity on their own twitter accounts then in the forums.

And secondly we shouldn't be hovering over J-mods expecting them to give us lore especially pieces that change a lot or re-adjust the lore we have, I mean that also just seems like a lot of pressure that J-mods can't say anything without it being taken literally.

What Balustan is referring to is when Mod Stu clarified that Saradomin didn't try to kill you in DoC. If Mod Stu wrote the quest then yea I'm going to hold his word pretty high because its his quest lol and I don't see why that is so hard comprehend here.

Well I don't think balustan is quite who you seem to think he is, he has said a few times he does want more positives for Saradomin, (i don't want positives for anyone, all factions should be evillllllllll imo fyi)

I think if the jmods do give us their opinion on something we shouldn't disregard it like we do for other players. They have all the behind the scenes, so they are quite informed. I think before saying a jmod quote is inccorect or disregarding it you should at east state a very very good reason why you believe so, much more then It doesn't fit his M. O.

I am not going to say Mod Stu doesn't know the quest as I have said I accept those quotes as canon but I can just as easily on the basis that you disregard quotes you don't agree with say they are non-canon.

I don't want you to go over every individual post I want you to give me an example that you consider canon of a J mod post that doesn't pain a god except Saradomin in a negative light and doesn't show Saradomin in a positive light.

You responded to me first and as such I responded to you. I try to respond to everybody who responds to me on the forum

I wouldn't say disregard it but we shouldn't just accept it as canon lore unless its actually meant to be that. The big argument against me right now is that I just take some J-Mod quotes as a higher reference then others. Mod Stu wrote Death of Chivalry if he wants to clarify something on his quest in a quote then I think I'll take that as cannon if mod stu said "oh saradomin was trying to kill you but he couldn't" I would take that as cannon to because he wrote the quest.

But saradomin abandoning the humans to find stronger racer that's actually creating lore, because then we know that Saradomin colonized other worlds with humans before finding New Domina and seeing as we know he was well established on New Domina before the 2nd age then that would make Saradomin older then we know him to be. That's why I don't like taking those quotes as canon because then you actually apply them to everything and what would be a small quote turns into a major lore gap which they then put in lore that will retcon that quote.

Raxxess, you are kind of contradicting yourself in this way, you say you take Mod Stu's quotes since he wrote death of chivarly, so he would know, but then shouldn't you accept Osborne's? Since he is in charge of all things lore related?

How old is Saradomin? We know younger than Zaros and Seren but he's perfectly capable of having traversed worlds with humans in a very short time and then having abandoned them and becoming established on New Domina quite easily within existing lore.

This lore hole seems to be an invention of your own.

I mean he could have achieved all that in less than a few hundred years possibly.

Before today I thought it was generally accepted that Saradomin was that old...

I am of the opinion that more lore is better, and because this quote doesn't contradict anything said before, i see it as a perfect opportunity for more lore. If enough people deny it, it might not happen which would be sad :( as it is essentialy killing a perfectly good piece of lore. I think this is why it bother Balustan so much, from the little amount I know about him, one thing is clear, he loves lore . By people denying a possible opportunity for more lore, you are attacking him. I think that Instead of thinking of quotes like the one in question as problems, think of them as gifts, and they should be treasured.

I don't use J-mod quotes so the only thing I can point out to you is how I stopped theorizing that Garlandia's story was false when it was pointed out to be true but bias.
